"We decided to rent a beach house to house a few family members who flew over from Catalina Island to come to my Dad's Celebration of Life! Both my Aunt and Uncle from Catalina Island are 87 and 90 Years old. The house was very comfortable and easily accessible with a cane. Although we did experience some rainfall having the rocks embedded in the entrance floor and stairs made it easy for them to go up and down the stairs. "Good location to take advantage of the Hilo area and the east side of the Big Island. Very clean and safe. Beautiful home. Had just about everything we needed during our stay. We would stay here again, book with confidence. Left us a nice welcome package and included a dozen fresh eggs. Very much appreciated. One little thing, there is a gas grill, but if you use it there is an additional cleaning fee. That should have been disclosed in the property description."

"What a delightful stay we had in our beautifully appointed clean as a whistle VRBO on the Hamakua coast of the big island. It had absolutely everything one would need and then some (thoughtful sleep masks). Large refrigerator, washer and dryer, extremely well equipped. The fresh fruit and fresh eggs in the fridge was just a great touch. All this and the adorable unobtrusive little pets and chickens made this a perfect stay Big Mahalo to Dan and Mollie, great hosts"

"We stayed in unit 2 but I would still love to give my review/opinion about it. This was a truly amazing place to stay in. It was my first time in unit rental and it truly felt like a home away from home!! Everything was just as they say it was in the listing and the property owner/manager was super kind and patient. "This property was beautiful! The home was perfect for our family with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The yard around the house was amazing, with lovely flowering plants and soft grass. We enjoyed hanging out both indoors and outside. The location was great. It was fairly close to Volcano National Park and there were several other attractions in the area. In addition, we could watch surfers from our patio!"

"This house was a great place for our 3-day visit to Hilo and the east side of the Big Island. The location is great, and easy to find. The house had everything we needed, and gave us a good sleep and start/end to our days. We didn't spend much time there during the day, as we were out seeing the volcano, driving to the south end of the island, and looking around Hilo. We had a wonderful visit."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The lanai looking out over the ocean was exactly what I wanted. We enjoyed getting to watch the surfers down below. The daily breakfast was perfect and the coffee was delicious. We had the property to ourselves so it was very quiet and peaceful. My husband and I both agreed we will come back if we get the chance!"

"This home was beautifully amazing and accommodated the entire ‘ohana. It was super clean, private, fenced in and came equipped with all the extras (leftovers from other guests; condiments, spices for cooking, coffee, cooler bags, etc). Falling asleep to the river was so peaceful and it was off the main road, so little traffic. Will definitely be staying here again. Mahalo nui!"

We saw whales, stars, goats, wild pigs, sunrises, ships and barges, beautiful waves, and fruit trees. It was peaceful and quiet—away from all the people and bustle. But a quick trip to Hilo and other small towns with amenities. Perfect location to go to Volcanoes or just anywhere on the island."
