"This is a fabulous little hotel. Close to the old part of town. It is immaculately clean and has a charming courtyard to relax in.
The host Jean Luc made our stay extra special. He suggested good restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was definately the highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of food was fantastic. I’d recommend a stay here. "

"Wonderfully located. Beautifully decorated and gracious host/owner. Wonderful to have secure parking even for a €€ rate. Request a lower floor if you have any concerns about stairs without railings. All rooms are lovely and the common areas are in the floor above the garage/ street level. The breakfast is very good -no eggs, but fine cheese, breads, yoghurt, fruit. "We had a lovely room in great condition with a balcony in which we could eat meals. The hotel is very close to the Roman amphitheater and other tourist sites. There was a self service laundry in the complex that was clean and easy to use."

"On our visit to the south of France we decided to stop in Nîmes overnight to see the temples and Roman Coliseum. We chose Hotel de l’Ampitheatre for its proximity to the train station and the sights, and high ratings. We were not disappointed.
