"I absolutely love this resort and their staff. They are the most welcoming and thoughtful people. It was my bday celebration and I came to a room decorated with balloons, flowers and bday sign made of of pedals. The rooms are private clean greatly ventilated and good lighting. MY FAV was the wall to wall shower and a huge window overlooking the jungle. I mean heaven. Dont even get me started on the food. When they say farm to table they mean it. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Special gratitude to our masseuse Marie and Veronica they were amazing. I swear after Marie finished my massage my lower back have never felt so good."

"We arrived at 11:30 PM on the first night and we were immediately let in by security. There was no wait, very happy with the service. The property is gated and so we felt very safe there."

"This place is beautiful and well-kept. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and they did allow us to order from the menu after the first few days. We were there five nights. Our room said it had a kitchenette but there was only a coffee maker and mini fridge. Our second room did have a microwave. We had to switch rooms because on the third night we were lying in bed and saw bed bugs! We thought we had been getting bit by mosquitos but it turns out it was bed bugs! Luckily the manager took our call at 9pm and moved us to a different room. We had no trouble for the last two nights. Overall it was a great stay. The only thing that would make it better would be to offer drinking water. We had to ask to have our water bottles filled every day and ended up just buying some."

"I had a wonderful time staying at Monkey Beach Retreat! The place is even more beautiful than the photos show. The beach and water are fantastic, the hosts (Gary and Tina) are very welcoming and helpful, and I definitely recommend Miss Miriam’s meals. I highly recommend staying here!"

"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Tanager Rainforest Lodge. The peaceful rainforest setting made it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The Garden View Cottage was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the entire property was beautiful. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and every meal was fresh and satisfying. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the natural beauty surrounding the lodge, and the excellent hospitality. Thank you to everyone at Tanager Rainforest Lodge for making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and would be happy to return in the future."

"Our family of 10 just returned from Belize, and our stay at Hickatee was truly amazing. The flowers and wildlife were breathtaking—every day, hummingbirds would visit and linger nearby. We even had the unique opportunity to watch butterflies hatch from their cocoons during our stay.Alison went above and beyond to make our visit special. The property was immaculate and beautiful, creating the perfect setting for our trip. The meals she arranged for our breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious. She also connected us with a local guide, Jose, who provided a very personalized experience for our excursions. He was wonderful, knowledgeable, and added so much to our time there.All 10 of us (ranging in age from 21 to 60) would highly recommend staying here. Hickatee Cottages and Alison truly made it a special and unforgettable vacation!"

"Very lovely spot in a very lovely town! It was easy to find & super comfortable. I had a great time sitting out on the veranda and bird watching in the gorgeous trees and palm on the property. There are great spots to eat nearby (tbh PG is a small enough town that everything is ‘nearby’, even more so when you borrow a bike to get around) and the breakfasts were delicious! Kudos to Florette for her cooking skills and help with everything !"
