Lovely staff, great location and spacious and clean room. Some rooms need to shared bath. We stayed in a Japanese style room with a private bath. The room is not fancy but clean and confortable. The hotel is walkable distance to most of the attractions, only 2 min walk to Shokyo bridge, 15 mins walk to Toshogu Shrine, and 18 mins walk to Tobu-Nikko train station. The room was spotless, roomy and decently equipped. The service was really friendly and helpful even if we do not speak Japanese very well. I especially loved the large public bath. It was quiet and well-maintained, and had a view of a small garden. When I was enjoying a bath there, it started to rain lightly. I could smell the rain and see the plants get a little wet - it was the best feeling ever. They have strict COVID measurement procedures, which made us feel safe and comfortable! The manager lady who heard us going out to the bar and they checked on us for transportation which we didn’t ask for; they cared for their clients. We feel warm-hearted.
