The holiday rental (1 room with all amenities plus a separate bathroom) features a private entrance, a kitchenette with its own refrigerator, 2 hob burners, and a modern mini-oven (45L) with convection, etc., a bathroom/toilet, TV, Wi-Fi, and an adjoining outdoor area. Bedding and towels are included in the price.
The apartment (20 square metres) leads through the entryway into a single, cosy, warm room with hardwood floors. To the left is the kitchenette; to the right is a lovely seating area for relaxing, eating, and writing by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer a great view of the fruit tree meadow and flower-filled landscape! At the back of the same room is the cosy sleeper sofa that sleeps up to two people and the separate bathroom.
The outdoor area, situated in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows and bordered by flowers, is a wonderful place to relax.
With its charming simplicity and peaceful location, this holiday apartment is a little gem. Suitable for 1 to 2 people.
The sound of the sea, the salty, fresh sea air, the call of wild geese on their daily flight paths, the vast starry sky, and the tranquility and peaceful atmosphere make your holiday here truly special. The lovingly landscaped flower beds in the courtyard and on the grounds—with their small seating areas and artefacts from the former farmstead—as well as the fruit tree meadow create a wonderful atmosphere.
The sea is 600 metres away, just through the former farming and fishing village. In the mornings, you can marvel at the most beautiful sunrises here, and during the day, the beach—with its view of the lighthouse—invites you to linger and take relaxing walks in the evening hours. Winter highlights have often included impressive natural spectacles such as the Northern Lights and the ice forming on the freezing sea.
The peninsula on which the small village is located captivates visitors with its unique flora, fauna, and birdlife set against a wondrous natural backdrop. Its diverse network of trails invites visitors to go hiking, biking, and engage in fitness activities such as morning jogs.
Towns with good restaurants, shopping, and medical care can be found in Gelting, Wackerballig (about 5 km away), or in Kappeln (about 15 km away), which offers a wider and more varied selection. Cities such as Glücksburg, with its moated castle, and Flensburg, with its various events, as well as Eckernförde, are easily and conveniently accessible by car (and, in some cases, by public transport). Nearby attractions, such as the “Haithabu Viking Village,” “Gottdorf Castle” in Schleswig, Germany’s smallest town, “Arnis,” on the Schlei, and the “Maasholm” and “Holnis” peninsulas, are all worth a short trip.
We look forward to seeing you! A warm welcome to this special place.
