Loved everything about this place, the location, the room, the staff. Large room for a good price, very clean and modern. Small property, so it was quiet and it made us feel like we were the only guests and staff was there just for us. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Perfect base for a city break if you are planning not to be in the room for a great deal of time.
Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, there were black out curtains and a safe.
The hotel offered free water and tea, coffee etc to guests all day/night in the bar area and the staff were very friendly.
Really lovely hotel. The staff were very helpful and willing to sort out any issues. The wifi was down when we stayed but they sorted out an alternative. Extra nice touches like the water bottles that you could filed with fresh cold water and take to your room and chocolates left on your bed. Very easy to hop on a bus or a tram down to the centre or you can walk for about 15-20 mins instead. Very good value for our stay.
Excellent hotel steps away from the main train station. All amenities and helpful staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. One of the best hotels I have stayed in recently.
Hotel Otero was well located between the train station and the beach. We liked the neighborhood which had restaurants and bars and parks, away from strictly tourist areas. The hotel is charming with larger rooms and traditional decor. The breakfast space each morning was beautiful.
Recommend this hotel for a good base in Nice.

Clean room, the breakfast was absolutely amazing too!
I was pleasantly surprised by my comfortable room. The bathroom was also really nice. The only downside was walls were thin and my neighbours were loud talkers.
The hotel is very close to the main train station and very convenient for day trips but a little far from the center of Nice.
Staff are absolutely wonderful specially Awa and Nicolas. Thank you guys.
The rooms were clean and well maintained. All the stuff in reception was wonderful. They were helpful and very friendly. Only thing didn’t like was no AC. The temperature was hot but we didn’t feel any AC there.
We didn’t need breakfast but it was on offer. Lovely welcoming staff . Fantastic location for Nice Ville train station , about 15min walk to the old town going the other way
Breakfast was good, there was no laundry in the hotel but around the corner. The staff was good and had great recommendations for places to eat. The room was clean, spacious.
very small rooms, nice location, close to train station,
our electric kettle in the room was broken and we asked staff to change it, and they never care about it
Helpful staff. We were also given free breakfast. Close to train station. Easy walking to every where. Hotel room is small but comfortable. We also took the train to visit Monaco.
We stayed for four nights. The first two nights were fine, however there was no hot water for the final two nights of our stay. Reception confirmed that the issue affected the building and unfortunately it was not resolved before our departure.
To their credit, the hotel later provided a partial refund of €150 after our complaint. However, losing hot water for half of our stay significantly affected our experience.
The room was otherwise comfortable and the location was convenient, but I hope the hotel takes steps to prevent similar issues in the future.
