Located 20 km from Nice, in the Var valley, Castagniers is a small hilltop village in the middle of Nice, surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation. Very beautiful clear view and magnificent panorama from the top of Mount Cima (880 m). Access to the village via the picturesque D14 road, winding up from the D2202\. Superb walks and hikes around the village, visit to the Cistercian convent of Notre Dame de la Paix where you will enjoy handmade chocolates and jams. Visit the Dark Valley of Donaréo, classified Natura 2000, without forgetting the oil mill.
