CHARMING VILLA 💖Panoramic views of sea & mountain, private sunny terraces, pool
This beautiful, south facing sunny villa is set in an exclusive, gated, hilltop domaine and is perfectly positioned on the Côte D’Azur, close to the coast between Nice & Antibes. The domaine is full of traditional character and enjoys an elevated position over the valley below. We have a large, shared pool with stunning views of the medieval village of St Paul de Vence in one direction and the sea in the other. It is the ideal base for exploring the French Riviera and the villages-perchés close by. It is only 10 minutes drive from the airport and just 15 minutes walk to the famous village of St Paul. Yet, while the villa ensures easy access to all the Côte D’Azur has to offer, it’s location in such a pretty and tranquil domaine means that on return from a day exploring you can easily relax and soak up the wonderful provençal atmosphere....... perfect! Our villa within the domaine is one of a small number of private one and two bedroom residences and is called Mimosa Villa for the 2 mimosa trees growing there. We have wonderfully sunny south-facing private gardens with three separate terraces all with breathtaking views of the sea, Cap D'Antibes and the wooded valley below. We have dining areas and sun loungers placed throughout which are perfect for alfresco dining and sunbathing. Or if you’d like to relax in the shade, pick a spot under our lovely big old pine tree. For sunny breakfasts, the breakfast terrace has a unique stone table that was once an olive millstone and seats 8 comfortably. At night, the views of lights twinkling along the coast and of starry skys are spectacular too. It all makes it very difficult to ever leave! Inside the villa, large French doors in both the living area and main bedroom open onto the balconies so the wonderful views can be enjoyed there too. We’ve just added a beautiful new kitchen with all modern equipment and remodelled and redecorated the living and dining areas so they are lovely places to relax and read or listen to some music or watch movies, whatever your heart desires. With 2 double bedrooms, both with great sized ensuites, Mimosa villa can comfortably accommodate up to 2 couples or families of 4/5 as we have a cot bed for very young children or the sofa bed provides useful additional sleeping space.

Enjoyed the beautiful view over the Code D‘Azur from the Terrasse. In the House and garden you find everything you need in a lovely ensemble of History and new.
The Villa is really well appointed and has a lovely homely feel. Beds are so comfortable and we loved the fact that there are kitchen staples you can use and then add to. True hospitality. The pool was a great asset as it was very hot during our stay. We hired a car and so we’re able to drive to the village to go to one of the mss as my lovely restaurants. Defo recommend car hire - we had hoped to use public transport as we usually fo but this would have been difficult. So close to Nice airport too.
There is a reason there are so many five star reviews for Villa Mimosa—because they are well deserved. The owners and the local contact were very nice and accommodating. From restaurant recommendations to answering questions, they are very responsive. The location is great, a 20 minute walk or a few minute drive from St. Paul de Vence. Grocery store is very close. Villa is about 15 minutes from the airport.
The villa is nicely furnished and very comfortable. It has a large outside patio with a great view. The photos are pretty accurate but it is nicer than they depict. It has a washer and dryer (although dryer is a condenser dryer so can be a little slow). It is very quiet. After a week stay, my wife and would not hesitate to return to Villa Mimosa, it is a lovely place.
A little piece of paradise in St Paul de Vence! What a beautiful provincial style property in a gorgeous area. The location is perfect with close proximity to the beautiful village of St Paul de Vence, shopping, art galleries, restaurants, and even a luxury spa. Such a comfortable space with gorgeous glass paned doors that open up with views of the valley, mountains, gardens and the sea. The height of the property makes for the amazing views, and the breeze coming through is quite spectacular. The decor is absolutely perfect for the area; very neutral with lots of charmand very comfortable furniture and beds. The layout is such that it is perfect for a group or a solo traveler thanks to the large and wonderful terrace overlooking the valley, gardens, and beautiful old stone houses. I did not need a car as I walked everywhere, however there is parking. The outside space is lovely, with just a few steps down to a common area where there is a grill and lounging as well as pétanque. Claire the owner was very communicative and responded to me right away, was very nice and friendly. The unit is very clean and spacious, fully equipped, and the glass doors are perfect to enjoy the views and breeze. This is an amazing property and highly recommend. This truly is a gem!
Beautiful apartment and location - make sure you read the fine print
This is a lovely and very well appointed apartment with access to a pool, a beautiful view and a great spot for enjoying all this stunning region has to offer.
There is very long and detailed instructions for everything which I am sure appeals to some but I will admit that I lost interest after about 4 paragraphs of the many instructions. As a result I didn't remove the small bag of garbage under the sink so we were hit with further charges. We did otherwise leave the apartment perfectly clean and tidy so that was a pretty disappointing ending. I do find that there is always a decent cleaning fee added to bookings this practice pretty irritating but I guess that's why you check the fine print.

Wonderful villa, with amazing views neat Saint Paul de Vence.
We had a wonderful stay here as a family. Beautiful accomadation that has a garden with stunning views across the hills. Large communal swimming pool and a 20 minute uphill walk to the town, with lots of restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend a stay here.
A unique, charming 2 bedroom 2.5 bath villa with amazing views, great outdoor areas, and an easy drive to many charming villages. The villa was well equipped and the owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Lovely villa
Villa Mimosa was a great property, with lovely views and close to Saint Paul de Vence. It even has a pétanque court! Claire was extremely responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend it.
My first impression was that if I were to buy a home in the Cote D'Azur, this would be it! Everything about it was lovely: the inside decor which was very comfy and stylish, too. The living room was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The views were incredible: distant view of the ocean and hills. There was a washer and dryer, dishwasher, heated bathroom floors, etc. The owner was very responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this home.

Charming Villa with Wonderful Views
We had a wonderful week at Mimosa Villa which is in the perfect location to explore all of the French Riviera. The views are amazing and it was great to have access to all the outside patios to take advantage of eating meals, having drinks or just relaxing in the sun. The furnishings were all quite comfortable and gave the villa a very French ambience. Janet gave us very detailed instructions for access/parking/good restaurants and the like which made life very easy. The entire compound is extremely quiet in a lovely neighborhood. Don't miss the boulangerie and wine shop she recommends - they were our daily hangout. We have great memories of a fabulous time and would love to go back again. It is definitely worth 5 stars!

Our favorite place to stay in St. Paul
We have been renting this villa for the months of January and February for three years and will be there for a fourth year in 2017 but will extend our stay to three months.
We love this place and hope to keep coming back for a long time. Everything is done to a high standard. The villa is big and roomy enough for an long term stay for two persons. The extra bedroom and bathroom is great for guests to stay. The view down the valley to the sea is something we never get tired of seeing. Although we don't use the pool because of the time of year we stay it looks very inviting and is kept very clean even thru the winter months as is all the communal property in the Domaine du Piol.
Centrally located we are near everything or just a short drive away. Polygon Riviera, a large shopping mall is minutes away. And, a large grocery store is at the bottom of the hill.
We have told so many of our friends we now have quite a few who visit the region at the same time as us.
I would not hesitate in recommending Villa Mimosa.
We had a wonderful stay. Great location and lovely view. The house was clean and had everything that was needed. The concierge was friendly and helpful. We had a great vacation.
We absolutely adored this property. Perfect for the three of us, easy to work with the owner, perfect place to get to Cannes, Nice, Eze and Monaco. A must stay! Outstanding views.
Fabulous views and everything you could want in a vacation property!
The listing on Vrbo accurately described the villa. We loved the views and the reference book completed by Claire was so helpful. The outdoors seating was great and the place had everything that you need. The parking space is tight, as mentioned in the listing but we managed to fit a Peugeot station wagon in to the spot. Mini vans probably wouldn’t fit but other spots are available. Definitely would stay here again.
What a superb villa with its amazing views and beautiful furnishings. Lots of wonderful touches such as the arrival food package. Claire was so helpful with plenty of communication and notes on the villa , all very thoughtful . We would love to stay again.

Superb Villa with every possible convenience catered for.
Having stayed at Villa Mimosa for eleven nights recently, we are struggling to find adequate superlatives to describe our stay. Probably most impressive is the raised location of all the living quarters affording an ever changing vista of the valley down to the sea. The villa is exceptionally well equiped and appointed. We spent an extremely comfortable and relaxing break. Claire is most excerised in receiving comments to improve her beautiful home for the enjoyment of guests, but we find it impossible to help in this regard. We still talk about our vacation and hope to return again soon if we can manage to get booked.

A truly wonderful villa.
We were utterly charmed by this wonderful villa just outside St Paul de Vence. It is clear from the quality of everything about this property that you are really being invited into someone's home. Open the shutters and drink in the view and you too will feel almost immediately at home.
We were there for a long weekend in October and the weather was beautiful, the breeze gentle. Having arrived late the view didn't reveal itself until early the next morning and made all the better with welcoming croissants and coffee. Without exaggeration you could sit on the terrace all day. Beckoning and just minutes away, is the historic and beautiful town of St Paul de Vence. We loved it and wandered its ancient ramparts and narrow cobbles, later lunching at Cafe de Place and then dining in the evening at a rampart restaurant where the service and the food was delightful.
The villa itself is in a gated area, just fifteen minutes from Nice airport, with key coded access leading to its hilltop location. There is a communal pool and patio area and other villas around though it is still very private. There are two double bedrooms and everything you would want in terms of kitchen, dishwasher, showers, tv, music system etc. The living room and front bedroom both look out onto the balcony, which in turn looks down onto a lower terrace and to the side of the villa is a lovely seated area. I think you can tell we were impressed.
We did Antibe, Canne and Nice all of which are within a short distance by car and also minutes away are shops, a huge new shopping centre and supermarket.
We have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful property and even describing it doesn't do the actual experience justice.

Mimosa Villa - A slice of PARADISE on the Cote d'Azur!
We were very fortunate to stay one full month in September at the wonderful Mimosa Villa.
From the moment we drove in the gates of Dumaine du Piol we felt at home. A lovely welcome of wine and cheese awaited us on the table so we could toast our vacation and relax after the flight. Since we arrived late at night, we had the pleasure of opening the shutters in the morning to reveal a most beautiful view of the hills, and the Mediterranean.
The space around the villa was great as we had the terrace, a large back patio including a Boules court and a side patio with a table. Pride of ownership is evident in this Home Away. We were also able to enjoy the pool which was very close to the villa.
The interior is decorated very tastefully, incorporating all the French touches that you would
imagine. The kitchen was great to work in and the sitting area very comfortable. The bedrooms accommodated us very well.
I cannot say enough about the responsiveness of Claire (owner) and Eva (local contact) before and during our stay.
We frequented the local grocery store, Leclerc, which has a great selection if you are planning on preparing meals. We had a car which made trips for groceries and to all the towns and villages in the region easy. We did use Uber a few times as well, which was much more cost effective than local taxi cabs. The closest town, Saint Paul de Vence was just beautiful. We spent time there just sitting in the large cafe outside the Boules court enjoying our coffee, wine and the culture.
One could never tire of that gorgeous view right through the French doors at Mimosa Villa.
