This is a spacious charming house for families or a group of friends to relax on the front porch and watch the horse and carriage stroll by. Or let loose and have some fun in the generous sized games room with foosball table and air hockey!

Summerhill House is one of the top rated and most sought-after vacation homes in Niagara! It is a historic home with renovations and updates to add all the luxury and comfort of a modern home. Exposed wooden beams throughout provide some of the architecture that gives the old-world charm.

Walk up to the inviting front porch that has Adirondack chairs (or Muskoka chairs if you are Canadian), a great place to sit with your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

The foyer spills into the living area with a big cozy 'L' shaped couch and a sitting chair, with a TV. A charming round dining table perfect for gathering, playing a good old fashioned board game. There is a two-piece bath on the main level for your convenience.

Continuing to the rear of the home is a spacious, fully equipped open kitchen and dining room, with a larger dining table. Kitchen includes:

-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee and tea to get you started
-Sugar packets, salt, and pepper
-Microwave, stove, fridge, toaster, and dishwasher
-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths

This is a wonderful place to watch that cook in your family or for everyone to help out. Patio doors lead out to the back yard with a deck that has seating for all your guests, gas BBQ/grill, and a garden area.

A flight of carpeted stairs leads you to the 2nd level to all 3 bedrooms. The first two bedrooms have queen beds with luxurious bed linens. The front queen bedroom has a walk out to the large, covered balcony that has comfortable seating overlooking King Street. The third bedroom has a king bed and is located at the back of the house overlooking the backyard.

The lower level has a generous sized games room with foosball table, air hockey, and another TV.

Laundry area is tucked away in the corner of the games room behind closet doors:

-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets

Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo and hand soap are also provided.

Located just steps away from the corner of King St and Queen St, Summerhill House is across the street to Balzac's Coffee shop and The Irish Harp Pub.

Location has so much to do with making a holiday really something special. Walk to any of the Shaw Festival's theatres, shops, and restaurants on Queen St.

Convenient!
We were thrilled to never need the car except for one day when we went out of the downtown area. Convenient to everything someone comes to NotL for and would likely stay again if in the area. We really loved relaxing on the balcony rain or shine while enjoying morning coffee and people/pup watching. Budapest Bakeshop, Cheese Secrets, Nina Gelateria and Greaves were some favorite stops. Just a heads up for light sleepers like me, bring earplugs if you don't travel with them. The backyard butts against the hotel so lots of car doors and a pub across the street so good weather means motorcycles closing them out.

Ideal location for 3 couples for a visit to NOTL! Each couple has their own ensuite bathroom; fully equipped kitchen, lovely second floor deck, porch and backyard deck, and onsite parking (very important!) Location in the heart of downtown means literally just steps to everything. Seamless communication with property management; would definitely recommend and return!

Summerhill House is ideally situated just around the corner from Queen Stree….main drag in NOTL. Every single detail in the house was first class and the landlord thought of simply everything. Three nice bedrooms each with its own bathroom. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else and hope to return soon.

Five adults totally enjoyed attending the Shaw , wine tastings, shopping and dinner in town and wineries. Rental home exactly as posted and location was perfect to walk to plays and enjoy the beautiful scenery on the streets of the town. Particularly enjoyed the balcony for wine and charcuterie in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. Will definitely return again ☀️
