"Excellent property! One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Just off the main street (less than 300m) but still quiet, the Scotsman only has 6 bedrooms so it is very intimate, with a number of smaller lounges that couples can relax in while not disturbing other guests. All of it in a warm, cozy and especially luxurious design style. Morning breakfast is excellent and there is a large back terrace with unique seating areas, again as a measure of privacy. Staff were excellent, very friendly and super engaged. Would highly recommend a stay here!"

"clean and well located hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was very friendly, receptive and helpful. The only issue we had was a maintenance issue with our room. the staff responded promptly, however, we ended up having to switch rooms to a less desirable location as it was the only room available."

"Upon late check in (after a stressful drive from Michigan in the dark and rain) we were greeted and treated with such friendly hospitality! It really changed our perspective of our evening & experience in NOTL! The room was clean, quiet, warm, (with the little electric fireplace) comfortable, (sheets were divine) and close to town. Breakfast was wonderful for continental fare, hard boiled eggs were fresh, fruit and an assortment of pastries. Coffee was fresh and delicious! Thank you for your hospitality, we hope to visit you again in the future!"
