The house is very comfortable and literally just steps from Niagara-on-the-Lake’s historic downtown. In addition, it’s also located just 1 1/2 blocks from the oldest golf course in North America (celebrating 150 years this year) and Lake Ontario. Perhaps the only downside to the house is the upstairs bath/shower. Although the antique claw foot tub was cute, the shower enclosure made showering less than desirable. Enough so, that our friends ended up showering in the downstairs shower. Even with this inconvenience, all 4 of us would definitely stay at the Cedar House again! ##### Dennis D. We drank coffee on the front porch in the mornings, then walked to breakfast (Niagara Juice Company has a pastry wizard in the kitchen), shopping, dinner, and all the plays. The house was clean and comfortable, and the garden plantings are beautiful. We had one rainy day, perfect for coffee on the porch, but the front door isn't (yet?) functional, which means we had to run from the side door to the porch in the rain. Not a big deal, but once that small defect is fixed, this place will be perfect. We would happily stay here again. ##### Meisje C.
