It was nice overall. The indoor pool and hot tub were fairly well-maintained. The room was reasonably clean and smelled ok. However, there was what I can only describe as a locker room-like smell in the hallway outside the room

The place has a certain smell, smells like fungi farm, like their farming mushrooms. It’s very off putting, the location is good and there is plenty of secure parking around the property. The staff are accommodating enough even if you are doing a late check in as we had done. The shower/bathroom and beds are set up properly and was the only thing that we really liked about the hotel. IHOP was closed due to construction so no comment on the food. Probably a 3/5 is generous review as parking was expensive and security deposit was still required even with all of the hotels issues atm.

I stayed at tower A before which is way better than tower B. My rating is solely based on tower B. Wyndham probably bought out whatever motel was there before. Tower B is equivalent to a 1 star motel. I don’t think it’s ever vacuumed, both rooms and in the hallways. The washroom was super small and claustrophobic. There was hair still in the shower. The smell is very musky and old. I regretted booking this room. Staff and location was good.

Pros- close to/walkable Niagara Falls and Clifton for activities, clean and spacious room...did use a plug-in air freshener... barely noticeable smell, staff is friendly, liked that I-Hop was in hotel, hot tub very warm and clean...timer could be longer Cons- Tower B is not attached and had to walk about 5 minutes to Tower A, cycle machine needs adjustment... can't change the setting, someone tried to solve the problem of the smell when you get out the elevator... I enjoyed the solution that they used on the carpet, but after the first four rooms, there was a rank order but it was not overpowering.

Great location only a few minutes to walk to the falls and 20 minutes from Clifton Hill. The room was clean but the pool area was not. The front-desk staff were efficient and polite but the parking attendant yelled at my husband for not loading our car quickly enough at check-out
