" Idioms like "don't judge a book by its cover, " also jump to my mind. The Aaron House is in a depressed, nearly impoverished area (as is most of Niagara Falls, USA) BUT --in true American spirit-- still endeavors to offer its very best. The heritage of this dwelling, the history of this destination and the honesty flowing heroically from its keepers regarding both (history and heritage) make The Aaron House a "have-to" visit while in Niagara Falls. The Falls are beautiful and majestic, yes. This fact is undisputed. But, while staying at the Aaron House, one is immersed in the evolution of how/why & what things occur to exploit, rejuvenate, ruin and rescue both natural phenomenons and communities. Trust your host's advice on exploring the Cave of the Winds prior to the Maids of the Mist (the provided sandals at one are a life saver at the other.) Also, take some time to read (or ask of your host) about the history of the town. From indigenous persons to its economic height to its fall and struggle to survive, you will experience Niagara Falls with a greater and multi-faceted depth of appreciation one will not receive from any other accommodation in the area. ##### Crystal N.
