I had my reservation, but a few hours before my arrival, I got a note through hotels.com that they are unable to accommodate me because they overbooked. They offered for me sleep in a tent on their location. We stayed in a double room which was comfortable enough, the bathroom was not exactly clean but that isn't really why you'd stay here, and we made do for 1 night. The rooms were clean enough but there were a few bugs, but that’s to be expected as it’s in a sub tropical environment. The toilets and showers were fairly disgusting, the toilet paper was always wet and guests couldn’t seem to not foul the seats. That being said, though, we wish the rooms and facilities are cleaner, given the high price of our room (it cost as much as our room in a 4-star hotel in HK). The shared toilets and showers are in dire need of a good scrubbing, and our room was not even swept - there were trash lying all around the floor when we arrived. We tried to ignore these, however, because we love the location. It is located high up in the mountains, in the shadow of Lantau Peak. The weather was nice and cold, there are several hiking trails nearby, and Lantau Peak is just 1.5 kms from the starting point of the trail beside the hostel. La vegetación y la fauna del lugar es extraordinaria. Las instalaciones son muy buenas, sábanas y baños limpios, aire acondicionado, cocina equipada.
