Trần Phú Street itself is a main artery, leading directly to the Ngọc Kinh Bridge and the riverfront.Couples often find this area ideal for a memorable and relaxing trip. The proximity to the riverfront allows for easy access to charming boat trips, especially in the evenings when the lanterns light up. There are also many intimate restaurants great for a romantic dinner. For travellers looking for a more tranquil experience, particularly families, the areas slightly set back from Trần Phú Street, towards the eastern side of the old town, are a good fit. The best time to visit Ngọc Kinh is during the dry season, which typically runs from March to August.During these months, you'll experience warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine, making it ideal for exploring the outdoor attractions. The humidity is also lower, which makes for a more comfortable experience as you visit the ancient temples and stroll through the rice paddies. While the rainy season from September to February brings lush greenery, it also means higher humidity and the possibility of heavy downpours, which can sometimes disrupt travel plans or outdoor activities. If you don't mind occasional rain, you might find fewer crowds and lower prices during this period.
