This is a very simple clean hotel. (Although the cleaning smell was very strong) No coffee maker in the room, but it did have a microwave and mini frig. Complimentary basic shampoo, conditioner and shower soap. Outside entry to the rooms so you can park right up to your room. No early check in. No coverage in the front office in the morning. There is a phone # to call on the door) Our bathroom window did not lock. If you are looking for very basic, clean and inexpensive place to stay close to Newport center, this will work for you!

Wifi doesn’t work well,it is very weak and disconnect every few minutes. When it connected, can only see text, not image and video. Outside room WiFi seems little stronger, but not inside of room. Also self cell phone is blocked inside of room.

I had a great experience staying here. The location is excellent and very convenient, and the property was clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I want to give a big thank-you to the staff. My wife accidentally left her necklace in the room after we checked out and the staff found it and kept it safe. I was able to come back and pick it up the next day. I truly appreciate their honesty and kindness—it meant so much to my wife. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of my belongings!

We just needed a place to stay after attending a social gathering. It was either, this the Motel 6 or some really expensive places. This was about what I used to expect for $59.99, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable enough and the location was convenient. Just don't expect anything extra, like ice. The machines are tucked behind the office and don't look like they have worked in a while.

I will not say this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but I will say this is the most I've ever paid for one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. It's not a second class hotel. It's a THIRD WORLD class hotel, except you can easily find better hotels in developing countries. Amenities? Single-ply toilet paper and PRC soap and body lotion. No coffee maker. One coat hanger. No hair dryer. No iron. No tissues. This is the kind of hotel you would rent by the hour to spend some quality time with a person you just met at the bar and even then, only if you were truly desperate. You would not mind the slow internet, since you would be otherwise occupied. Stained bedspread, moldy shower curtain, dingy lighting, beat up furniture, loud ac and bath fan, strong ammonia smell: all perfect for a romantic one night stand.

I can’t say anything good about this motel. Our room was very dirty and musty, and when we first walked in, we had no electricity. The tub was dirty and had soap scum on it. It had mold on the shower curtain and the ceiling was moldy. There was hair still in the bathtub and on the toilet from previous occupants. We complained about this to the front staff, and instead of trying to give us another room or clean it they threatened to throw us out. There is no vending machine on the property and no ice machines. When we got into bed, our sheets were grainy like there was a bunch of sand in them, but there wasn’t sand. I think that the sheets were just so poor of quality that they were very uncomfortable. The pillows were tiny and flat, and the towels were very worn out and thin. We were depressed every time we had to come back to the room. The maintenance guy that came to fix our electricity and television was polite. That’s the only good thing I can say. The wifi never worked and you can barely get cellular service either. Apparently this is a place where people live and the clientele looked pretty sketchy. To top it off we found out that in May 2026 one of the occupants of the hotel had killed his mother there in one of the rooms and then committed suicide. Do not stay here unless you are desperate I beg you!

Just a quick overnight stay thank heavens. Bathroom was awful, like hair in tub drain awful. Tiny microwave that didn't work. Just generally run down old place. If you need someplace to sleep for a night, well at least the sheets were clean but that's about the best I could say.

The hotel was definitely a older hotel. It was s beautiful area! The beds were super hard and springy. The bathroom was small! The room was decent but could have really used a DEEP clean. The parking lot was super flooded from the rain. We would stay again as a one night stop. Ok, for the price.

The room was ok, spacious but dim lighting , all electricity outlets are behind furniture , very difficult to charge your electronics , vey bad internet connection , I had to use my phone as a hot spot for my laptop , very inconvenient , very old bathroom and bath tub but operate well, minimal amenities , I will only come back again if I’m desperate

Property outside was nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms.....Had to change rooms due to the bedding having stains and smelled very musty. The replacement room was better. It's a nice place for the price and a short stay. It's definitely dated, well used, could use some attention on the small things; i.e. bedding, trim paint, clean out the freezer in the fridge, proper shower curtains, and some general deep cleaning in the hidden away areas (corners, behind furniture, etc). Also, no in room coffee maker but there were microwaves and fridges. Would I stay there again??? I'd have to check the room first.

The room was clean, the staff were friendly. Plenty of parking in front of the room. Wi Fi was sketchy in the room but better outside. Didn't try the TV. Would have been helpful to detail the room set up. The beds were too small for two people so my wife and I slept apart (not the worst thing...) but did make more work for the cleaning staff. Overall, good experience especially for the rate. Would return.

The place was adequate for the price in the Newport area. It is close to Newport The room was clean , but very 1970s. The office doesn't open until after 10AM. There was a coffee maker in the office, but I had to drive to Dunkins,down the road to ge5 coffee in the morning. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice the refrigerator and microwave were a plus.
