Breakfast expensive.
Fire alarm gone off intermittently even no fire for 40 minutes in the middle of the night.
But apart from lack of sleep a very nice hotel.
Great location for all Jesmond’s amenities, and a lovely room. The hotel bar had a great atmosphere. Limited parking though but we were able to find on street parking a couple of streets away although there is a lot of streets that are permit only parking so it is a bit of pot luck.
Bedroom was ok, bathroom very tired, toilet seat sliding off, windows in bedroom let all the noise in from outside, lift had a voice announcement when doors opening/closing ,very noisy.
On the plus side the staff on reception were very friendly
Stayed here with my daughter for one night for a gig nearby. From the moment we entered the staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived early and they moved things around to accomodate us and let us in our room early which was really appreciated. We got our parking pass for the car and off we went out to explore. Great big bar area with outside seating too and lots of other bars and eating places around.
If we ever need to come back to the area we would definitely book again.
Room was lovely. Only thing was it didnt have a fridge. As a type 1 diabetic my insulin needs to be in a fridge. The room was big enough for a little fridge. But however the overall stay was lovely
Staff were super helpful and friendly. We checked in about 3am and the person on reception was really nice. Room was a good size and the beds were really comfy. Nice bathroom with a big shower. Bottles of water in room which was good after travelling all day

Staff were great! The bar in the hotel and the location great! Bar food good. Hotel rooms are just a bit ‘tired’ and ‘basic’. Breakfast is average.
Stayed here for 2 nights, hotel had everything you may need. It was nice to find a shower that had good pressure and was just right and easy to use. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
Fantastic hotel, really nice rooms, friendly staff and good food. Parking is a bit scarce, but the on street parking at the side is very reasonably priced. All good!
unlike many other hotels that arose from a series of converted houses this hotel has made a really good job of converting an entire strip of houses. We did not have breakfast as it was way too expensive so went out to Caffe Nero around the corner. We booked graduation night for next month at the same time. Parking was difficult, despite getting a ticket from the Hotel to put onto the dashboard of the car.
Room was nice and clean. Loads of places to eat and drink within a few minutes. The bar attached to the hotel was really busy but had a good atmosphere
The staff were amazing and helpful providing advice

Great bar, lively with great service and Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful, however NOT a great stay. The room we had was small, not a problem in itself but it was also looking a bit outdated and tired. Had the worst sleep I’ve had in a long time, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were small and also uncomfortable to sleep with. The fan noise was so loud you couldn’t use the bathroom light if someone was already asleep, we could hear the occupant of the room next door on their phone at 5.30 am and when the room above got up to shower at 6 am it felt like they were in the room with us due to the amount of noise their shower created. Bar food is good, breakfast unfortunately is just about average, didn’t bother eating second morning. Won’t be back…
All staff were really helpful and went the extra mile to provide the answers to questions or requests.
Parking was a bonus in such an urban street!
The building is quite old but is well presented and our rooms were spacious.
Food was well presented, tasty and good value!

Decent breakfast, clean functional room. A little pricey for the level but a solid hotel
