Check-in and check-out at reception were very smooth. The room was very clean, well maintained, and easy to use. The hotel is also very close to the station, which made it very convenient. I felt it was an ideal place to stay for a business trip.

Good budget option. Small rooms with basic amenities but spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. More hangers would be better but perhaps you can get these if requested. A lot of noise in the rooms overlooking the street, to be expected due to central location. Reasonable value. Would stay again providing it was reasonable rate.

Very centrally located Train station down the street castle and keep on the other end. Many dining and drinking places close. Great breakfast available for a small fee. Staff helpful. Shower only and a small bathroom. No laundry available on site but a great one in the community 15minute walk away.

Great location and close to Newcastle train station. This was an inexpensive hotel with a basic room that had everything we needed especially a good bathroom, reasonable priced breakfast and plenty of light. The staff were especially helpful.

This hotel was in a very convenient location,with parking available at the train station behind the hotel.It is a no frills hotel but having said that it had everything we needed for our weekend away!We had the breakfast the first morning,which offers a basic but well cooked hot breakfast/continental etc.We would definitely stay again.

I loved that a single room came with a king size bed and it was oh so comfortable! I would recommend it just for that! The room and bathroom were generous for a single room ( I have stayed in smaller rooms!) and perfectly formed, everything you needed. Good pressure in the shower and nice hot water. Also in room temperature controls, ideal for me as I feel the cold but also ideal for those who prefer air con. Also very quiet. Very good experience!
