Situated on the eastern shore of Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire it is owned by the US Park Service and run by a non-profit. A wonderful place to visit and take a tour of the main house or walk the trails and gardens that abound.

Our stay was fantastic, the place had everything we need and was comfortable. Living room with the cozy fireplace was great, a larger kirchen with basic essentials already stocked. Comfortable beds, couches, and nice bathrooms. Great location for Skiing and exploring the lake.

Our host went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. The house was very clean and we had a nice bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us. This house is close to the mountain and right near the lake. We will rent here again
