"Car park below hotel is free which is great as can get up the room level in lift. Pleasant reception and housekeeping staff. Comfortable bed and handy table, cabinet, wardrobe in a large room. TV with great choice of channels. Bathroom tidy with good shower. Incredibly handy for tram into dublin, and to the local large Dunnes and Tescos. Lighting in bathroom not the best. Tired bedside cabinets. If I were to be wanting to visit a suburb of Dublin again I’d use here."

The Lodges at Kilkea Castle

"Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for another stay and a round."
