"The location was very good especially for buses and trams. The flat was nothing special, in fact it was very poorly furnished, cheapest of furniture, no tissues, no paper towel, no cloths to wipe the counters or bathroom, two tiny containers of soap and shampoo for two people for an entire week. Give the minimum and pay the maximum. Also, asking for more money as an excuse to get access to the key box was the final straw. I will NEVER rent with Altido or Joivey again."

"Hotel was extremely well situated and everything was within walking distance. The full breakfasts were fantastic and staff were always friendly and helpful. Only down side was that because it was right downtown, on some nights it was loud and we were unable to leave the windows open. But the room had a fan which we made good use of. Would highly recommend!"

"This is a decent hotel adjacent to the Edinburgh Airport, with shuttle service available 24 hours a day. However, it is far off the main road and sandwiched between the airport, exhibition grounds and a large parking lot, so there aren't any restaurants or other businesses nearby. We were worried when the information sheet we were given only indicated that bar food was available, but they did have several main courses available for dinner as well. The breakfast buffet had several healthy options in addition to the full Scottish breakfast items. Our room was comfortable and quiet. One major caveat: Other reviews led me to believe that we could take the Airport bus from Glasgow to a stop that was only a short walk to the hotel. Either this is untrue, or the bus driver let us out at the wrong stop (and pointed us in the wrong direction!). We walked for well over a mile and saw no sign of the hotel, which is a low rise. There was no signage for the hotel on the main road, and Google Maps led us down a winding country road that appeared to be blocked as it approached the exhibition grounds. If a kind man hadn't come along and offered to drive us the rest of the way, we might be wandering out there still."

Great staff, good dining choices and excellent facilities; lots of gym equipment, large heated indoor pool, sauna & steam. Fantastic rest stop after long travel to Edinburgh or resting place before long travel home."

"This is a large hotel with only two unlinked elevators serving a single elevator bay, with up and down stairs on the same level, resulting in extremely long wait times. When departing, we called for luggage assistance, but after waiting 15 minutes with nobody arriving, we carried our luggage down the stairs ourselves to reach the elevators. Even then, we waited another 10 minutes before we could get into an elevator, as they consistently arrived full. The suite was very nice and clean; however, none of the USB outlets worked. Additionally, the bathroom exhaust fan and towel warmer were not functioning. We also encountered an issue with being incorrectly charged for breakfast. The hotel has an unusual setup where the Executive Lounge, which serves as the breakfast venue in the morning, does not officially open until noon. Guests with Executive Lounge access are entitled to breakfast there, but we encountered a staff member who appeared unfamiliar with the policy. Despite our request, they declined to verify it with management and insisted on charging us. The charge was later removed after we spoke with a manager, who was very apologetic and resolved the issue promptly. While the accommodations themselves were pleasant, the elevator delays, maintenance issues, and breakfast billing confusion significantly detracted from the overall experience"
