"The hotel overall was fine. I think the breakfast was $25 is overpriced for what they offer. Our room was OK inside outside of the room is quite dirty, I can spot a few that I’m sure hasn’t been touched in a long time I love the vending machine in the lobby with medications and a few other things, it’s very convenient However, the biggest problem we both had was the staff. We got there around 3:30 and was told we cannot check in until 4 PM sharp, when 4 PM p.m. I got in line and was told again that nothing is ready so come back in line at 4:30 and people were already in line. It was so confusing whether should I leave the line and sit down or stay in line though so we left the line and sit down again. But, the line was extremely long and we finally got to the front desk. The staff and told me that my room is not available, we booked a king size room, and nothing is available and she refuse to help. We called her out on her and she said bye to us and brush us off to the manager. The manager was extremely professional and very nice guy, so he apologized for her. It was the most ridiculous experience we have ever had to a front desk staff. Her rudeness was unbearable and unacceptable."

"Overpriced parking ($60 per night - Mar 2026), small beds in rooms, small refrigerator in room, no microwave in rooms, must have key card to access elevator, staff were rude. This hotel does however offer easy access to Newark Penn Station subway, and had several good choices open during portions of the day. The restaurant onsite was very expensive and did not offer many choices. The parking is quoted as covered parking, however, there was limited garage parking, the rest was outside. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, but they were doubles and staff indicated that rollaway beds were not allowed in a double room, despite them being available. When I called the hotel prior to arrival to ask a question, the staff had NO IDEA if the hotel offered in/out privileges to its guests. Its just very frustrating when you spend a decent amount of money for a nice hotel and you get mediocre service/facility. I expected more from a Hilton. "

"Staff is super rude. You show up to do the check in and the staff acts like it’s your fault they have no system and they never seem to have your reservation in their system. Long story short, had to go to a different hotel after waiting for 2 hours for nothing."

"Absolutely horrific experience staying at this hotel. The shuttle did not pick us up, the lobby was *packed* with upset customers at midnight - including one man blasting music from a personal speaker - and at one point the police arrived to deal with a disturbance complaint and couldn’t even get the attention of staff for several minutes. I waited nearly 45 mins around midnight for a room key and still never received help from the front desk in that timeframe, so had to wake up my family (I had arrived after them) to be let into the room. I contacted the hotel directly and through Hotels.com to share my experience, and never heard back on either platform after nearly two weeks. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. "

"They do have a restaurant with good food and happy hour and they have a store that is open 24/7 other than that nothing big it is next to a jail. "
