Luxury Mountain & Lake Farmhouse on Norris with Chef's Kitchen, Spa, & Kayaks
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was lovely! The house was spotless upon arrival, and the king-sized bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking, and the coffee maker and the washer and dryer facilities were particularly convenient. The host provided excellent communication throughout the stay, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The clear instructions provided for using the amenities in the house were especially appreciated. This property is highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed home, and we are hopeful to stay there again in the future! "
Dog-friendly waterfront home with a firepit, grill, deck, board games, & dock
8/10 Good
"I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan on to get the heat out but turn it off if you want to keep bugs out. We stayed when it was fairly cool outside; I can imagine it’s unbearably hot in the summer upstairs. The listing pictures do not accurately depict the many, many steps to the dock that are very steep and rickety. I’m glad we didn’t have our dog or any toddlers with us; they would not have been able to use the steps. It was “clean enough” - don’t look under the furniture. Lots of ticks, which is expected in the area but some basic weed eating and trimming would help. "
