The property was even better in person than the pictures showcased. The cottage is beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of contemporary, farmhouse and eclectic styles. The property backs up to a lovely little creek and has a nice outdoor fire pit that the owners set up adirondack chairs for us. The owners were very responsive to any questions or things we asked for. You do need to drive to anything as far as groceries, dining, etc. But we knew that ahead of time and it wasn't a concern. We would definitely recommend this property to any couple looking to relax and unwind. The small town charm of Bedford will delight with its beautiful architecture. LOL Altoona, Beford, Raystown Lake and many several PA State Parks were all close to the property. We explored the Horseshoe Curve and the Railroad Museum, a couple PA State Parks, local restaurants and cute stores too. The area is just so beautiful with the rolling hills and valleys.
