Trains roaring down the tracks and barges moving along the Missouri River are just part of the ambiance! You can walk to Dos Bros Mexican Grill, the Walt Theatre is right next door, continue exploring down the street to Lang-a-Tang's Deli, Astral Glass, Elizabeth's Gifts and Pinckney Bend Distillery. If you choose to venture up the city steps across the tracks you will sweet neighborhoods to walk through. The levee walk will provide a beautiful stroll along the Missouri River and the Colter Memorial will provide some of our history! We loved how creative the layout and decorations were. The place has everything you’d need and expect to find. The bed is super comfy! The host was very responsive. The cafe next door has excellent sandwiches and coffee (but it’s closed on Sundays). Don’t expect much from the “river walk”. It’s really just a sidewalk not more than a block and a half long. New Haven is close to Hermann, so we went there and rented e-bikes and rode the Katy Trail. Super fun!
