The house was a short 10-minute walk to the downtown which was a lot of fun to walk and shop. The host was very accessible and communicative. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. We liked having another TV in the bedroom too.

This house met every need and more!! Quiet safe neighborhood and short walk to shops and restaurants. Loved the very updated modern kitchen that had everything we needed. Very open living room / dining room / kitchen floor plan…just a cool place to hang out at the end of the day. Some of the best plush thick towels that all match the decor that we’ve encountered in a while. A lot of thought put into the decor while also providing many useful things that always makes traveling easier. Comfortable beds and all rooms were very clean from top to bottom. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again next time we visit New Glarus.

Property is a perfect place for a getaway. House is blocks from downtown and neighborhood is absolutely charming. Great amenities and all the comforts of home. Hosts were great with communication and recommendations. Beds are super comfortable. We will absolutely love to stay there again.

Hiking get-a-way

Our stay was great! The house is located in a very nice and well kept neighborhood. The interior of the house was very tasteful decorated and comfortable. It is a real plus to have the extra basement bathroom. If we are in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Comfy little home

Had a great time at this clean, updated house. Location is perfect to walk into town, about 1/2 mile away or to walk to the 2 trails that are also about a 1/2 mile. Check in and communication are easy. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting New Glarus.

Fall Getaway

Nice property, had a bit of trouble with the keyless entry, a “how to use” in the email would be helpful. Enjoyed our time in the area, great winery and coffee shop in the area. Also rented e-bikes in town and used the nearby trail.

Great gem in New Glarus

Wonderful location with well equipped kitchen. The only item I could not figure out was the tv in the bedroom with two beds. Would have appreciated a booklet explaining how everything worked.

Diamond in the rough.

My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in this home for 3 nights. The location was perfect, easy walk to the hearth of New Glarus, which is a charming little town. Perfectly located for day trips about the area. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it. The property is so well mentioned. It is furnished beautifully, very clean, warm and welcoming. We did not have to bring a thing. Plenty of room for guest. The beds were so comfortable, we slept so well. And well secured, no keys. The owner was wonderful to work with. Check in and out could not have been easier. Great Neiborhood. We will be back. Colleen and Tim

Very comfortable and conveniently located

My husband and I rented this house for a 3-night stay with our teen sons and my husband’s parents. The home was very clean and very conveniently located walking distance to New Glarus downtown. It had all of the amenities that a family should expect- tables, seating, couches, and TV’s. Someone put a good amount of thought and work into updating old wooden furniture (dressers, tv consoles, armoire, etc.) and choosing a modern color scheme. A few bits of feedback: we rented a house because we enjoy making breakfast at home and sometimes lunch or dinner. The flat fry pan was poor quality and spun like a toy top on the electric stove. That wasn’t ideal. The plastic liner shower curtain was over a foot too long and felt like a tripping hazard. The home had a RING doorbell which one part of my understands the need for so an owner can monitor their property and another part of me feels “watched.” None of my “complaints” should deter anyone from renting this property. Just be aware of them and have your mindset ready to expect them in advance.

The house was perfect for the four of us! It is just blocks from the heart of New Glarus and has comfy beds and great living room/kitchen. Plus located just 30 minutes from University of Wisconsin Camp Randall. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Overall the property was excellent. Great home and great area. We were able to walk up town to enjoy everything. Very nice home. It was beautiful inside and outside. The toilet had a weird sound after flushing. We all laughed cause it sounded like a cow all the time. Might need something adjusted on it but it didn't bother use much with our stay. We loved it and hopefully we can come back again some day. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you want a place to stay in town. Thanks

Perfect visit!

Great cottage feel.

Great place for us. Came for a nearby high school graduation so spent time out and about with family. The house was a reat place to come back and rest each evening. Great town , will need come back again to explore the fun places in town
