Nice property right on the river, felt very secluded even though there are other properties nearby. Great place to relax and unwind. Kitchen was lacking some basic utensils for cooking and cookware is a haphazard assortment. Recommend bringing your own if you plan to cook. There also were no kitchen towels and we were told by the property management hotline that is not something they provide.
Location was great! Beautiful views overlooking the river. Birds, squirrels and deer. So relaxing. The home has everything you need to make your stay easy. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms had ceiling fans. Kitchen is nicely
We had a wonderful time!!!! People watching on the river, tub floating off our deck area under beautiful pecan trees!! We did bring our essentials; Skibo cards, ninja grill and crockpot. Very comfortable home in a great location!! Good times with great friends
Enjoyed our respite at this lovely home. My sister and I took time away to relax and heal from our mother’s passing. We enjoyed the scenery and quiet peaceful atmosphere. The home was well maintained and met our expectations. Hope to return again soon.
Perfect location, river access, close to amphitheater and tubing options, 25 min to Gruene. Great patio with fire pit! The tv was hard to figure out but otherwise we had a great time. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this house.
We had a great weekend. The house was had everything we needed. It was nice to sit on the porch facing the river. Definitely recommend this property! We hope to return soon!
We enjoyed our stay. Great location and secluded. Property was nice but when it rained while we were there one of the rooms was leaking. Slightly dated property and not great amount of lighting but good for the price.
Love this house right on the Guadalupe River! We have stayed here many times. Recently they upgraded the floors and the bathrooms and it is a huge improvement, especially the bathrooms. Great showers and toilets now, and a big reason we will come back. We actually stayed somewhere else last visit b/c this place was a little run down, and they have fixed all that. Need a new fridge or to fix the water/ice maker, but otherwise this place is now in great shape. Fantastic access to the river and great fishing right at your back door. Check out the drive in theater in New Braunfels and go shopping in Greune. We love this trip every year and this a great place to stay.
I can't say enough about the location, fishing out your back door! It was a perfect location. Overall, the cabin was very comfortable except for a few issues that happened during the stay. It was a cold morning and the heater took hours to heat the cabin and the washer did not work. The property manager was responsive and provided support along the way so hopefully these issues will be resolved before the next guest arrives. I'd stay there again, very peaceful.
The property was as listed. Beautiful riverfront property. The proximity to restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment was great. I was glad we had decided not to do a lot of cooking. There was plenty cookware but missing some silverware!! There was supposed to be shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was only shampoo! The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable so that made up for the small issues. I would go back!!
Checking in process was a piece of cake. The house has its own charm and loved the trout decor. Inside had a few bugs… outside yard could be cleaned up. I swept the whole area out back because we had a 21 month old with us and didn’t want her putting stuff in her mouth. The back yard view is beautiful. We bbq’d and had a fire pit and did lots of fishing. I would stay again.
Love the location except for the proximity of the campground next door, which had their main access immediately next door to the house. However we did not have any issues with the neighbors. We prefer a few streets away but we had a pleasant time and enjoyable time including the beautiful and breathtaking view of the river which was stunning. House appears to have had a resident a while ago who smoked not recent but lingering scent.
We enjoyed the style and location of this house, very nice back porch. The only thing that concerned my husband and I was the musty smell. Air vents looked like mold was in and around vents. As a chronic asthmatic it was a concern. Love the place except for that. Neighbor was so kind to us that was an unexpected pleasure. I got sick and we cut trip short. I ended up in hospital for a few days.

Location great, but house is dated
The location and proximity to river was great.
Really the cons are with the inside of the house. It’s really dated and it doesn’t feel very clean. The beds have these big comforters that I’m not sure get sanitized or cleaned. Mattress was comfortable. Kitchen microwave was broken and fridge magnetic strip was pulling off. Freezer was leaking too. Sink in master bath was clogged. Neighboring tippees were quite loud at night.
