"The pictures show a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. The only eggs were cold hard boiled, the only hot food was toast and waffles. There wasn’t even any yogurt. I only stayed here on account of the breakfast and I won’t be back. I can get the same garbage continental breakfast anywhere."

"My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We stayed on the bottom floor, ocean view room. Pros: Check-in staff were great and friendly Lobby was clean and bright and modern Room was clean - looks to have been remodeled recently Beds were wonderful and comfortable. View is incredible! You can’t get closer to the beach without actually being on the beach! Fireplace in room was great. Cons: Walls are very thin - upstairs neighbors were very noisy, moving furniture, and since the floors are wood you hear everything. Poor ventilation - refrigerator was sweating leaving water on the floor. Bathroom stayed damp all night and day despite running the fan constantly. Had to hang towels outside the bathroom to dry. No rugs or mat inside - it’s the beach and it’s sandy. Even brushing our shoes/feet outside there was still sand everywhere. A rug inside the door would be very helpful. Or even a small broom in the room to sweep up sand. Pool is in a different building. A cold walk there and back! There were no towels so had to walk wet to the front desk to get towels. No kids in hot tub area (which could be a pro for some but my kids were very disappointed) and the pool was not very warm! We did enjoy our stay here mostly due to the view and easy beach access. I would consider staying here again if we got a top floor room as I think that would alleviate some of the issues we had with dampness and noise! Overall I would say 3.5-4 stars. "

"It was a bit smaller than we expected, which was actually perfect for my sister and I. But.” sleeps 4” was not 4 adults. It was two adults and two children as the second bed was a twin with a trundle underneath. All very comfortable very very nicely organized, clean, and a beautiful space. The walk to the beach was amazing, through a wetland wildlife area. And you could walk right into ” town” also… Which consists of one store (mercantile ) & one restaurant, both good. A great place to relax, rest & find solitude."

"We stay on the Oregon coast 1-2 times a year & always look for a new place we love. The most important thing to us is location & a balcony with a great view. If I were to give stars for this it would be 5. We want it to feel inviting & fairly clean. We don't need a lot. This particular unit needs more attention to these details. You could tell it had been cleaned, but it was musty. I think the blankets needed washing, also the extras in the closest.The kitchen is well appointed, but had only 3 teaspoons & 15 dinner knives & 2 ceramic coffee cups. The couch has ripped upholstery. I found an old shredded bath mat was under the sink. There are no handles in the tub showers, although there are some old slip mats available. I think there are some better options in this building for next time & I do hope that someone will take some time to care for this unit & make it as nice as some of the others. I realize it is hard to keep good cleaners from afar and also,being by the sea can make it difficult to keep up on things, but I could really feel that this places is not getting the care it deserves & I hope that it will. We will definitely return to this area & another unit in the building rented by this company, as I do recognize that this company has some nicer ones. Maybe it was just acquired & will eventually be fixed up a bit. Since the location was so lovely we were able to over look a lot of these things for only 2 nights & spend a lot of time on the balcony & the beach."

"Katie is an amazing host and helped us all the way with a minor alarm system issue. We wish the entire back yard was fenced for our pup, Tucker. It was not. Appears to be an easy enhancement to us. Otherwise go there!!"

"Amazing house right on the beach with plenty of room for all our kids and grandkids. The property is well-maintained and everything worked. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms seemed really well-insulated and quiet. We will stay there again some time!"
