The property is fully private with own entrance, terraces and pool. There are 4 bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Outside, several covered and open terraces offer overwhelming space for leisure. The house has many amenities, free WiFi, air conditioning (with supplement), washing machine, fireplace, large barbecue and more. All furniture and equipments are very recent. The large private garden pool refreshes you while you enjoy the gorgeous landscapes, in total quietness, in the middle of nature. At 10km, the town of Nerja offers countless shops, supermarkets, restaurants, tapas bars and all services one might wish. The neighbouring Nature Reserve of Sierra de Almijara has unlimited possibilities for trekking, from a 1 hour walk to a whole day excursion. The area is known for its rich and diverse wildlife and spectacular landscapes. A drive to the springs of Rio de la Miel and Peña Escrita reveal gorgeous mountain sceneries. By the shore, at 5km, the beautiful secluded beach 'playa del Molino de Papel' is known for its clear waters and praised by snorkel and scuba divers for its abundant underwater life. The area offers many activities: trekking, mountain bike, canoe, paddle surf, snorkeling, scuba diving, river trekking, horse riding, jeep excursions, tennis, golf at 20km and more. The region is very rich in culture, monuments and historical sites. The famous Caves of Nerja are at just 10km. Within a half day or a day journey, a number of world famous landmarks can be visited: Granada and the Alhambra, Sevilla, Córdoba, Ronda, the Sierra Nevada, Almería and Gibraltar. We think Cortijo Luque is great and look forward to returning. Very clean and well managed (though we did not need much help) was as good as we have seen in Spain. Villa is described as basic on the entrance plaque but we think it is everything you would need in May or September and in great condition throughout.
