The rooftop terrace is an entertainer's dream, complete with a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen, outdoor setting and 6 person spa. Relax on your sun drenched roof top whilst taking advantage and immersing yourself in the glorious uninterrupted ocean views and Nelson Bay Headlands. Only a stone's throw from the bustling Nelson Bay Marina, charters and cruises, the region's best beaches, walking trails, shops, restaurants, entertainment and activities, Harbour View Penthouse is perfect for families looking to take advantage of all Port Stephens has to offer. The property is beautifully furnished, and the modern kitchen will impress with stainless steel appliances and coffee pod machine (pods not supplied). The dining room flows onto the balcony with water views and an outdoor setting. Adjacent to the balcony, the lounge room offers substantial living space, complete with large screen smart TV and DVD player. The property also comes with free, high-speed Wi-Fi The spacious master bedroom has a queen bed and you will be spoiled with a lovely outlook through floor to ceiling windows, a flat screen TV, WIR and beautifully appointed ensuite. Relax and unwind after a day of fun and adventure in the main bathroom spa bath. The second and third bedrooms also feature high quality queen beds. The penthouse also offers a sofa lounge for additional bedding for guests when required at additional cost. Internal lift access available from your secure 2 car spaces. PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only. LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas (with decorative covers), blankets and pillows are also supplied. ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 6 ADULTS. There is a sofa bed that will be added to accommodate guests 7 & 8 ($100), total maximum guest 8. Harbour View Penthouse has a refundable bond of $1000 that is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refundable 3-5 days from your departure date. BEDDING CONFIGURATION - there is only one option for bedding at this property Option 1: 2x King, 1x Queen Additional costs when booking: Sofa bed (children only) $100 per booking which includes towels and linen hire. The spa on the roof was a real treat. Unfortunately while we were there it was confirmed that the air con was not working and would need completely replacing. The managing agent was very responsive and provided a portable a/c unit and several fans. I don’t know if it was a particularly muggy week or the apartment just tend in the warmer side, but it was really quite uncomfortable to stay and particularly sleep without the a/c. Doors and windows open made no difference (apart from meaning the traffic noise was very loud). The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Kitchen was well appointed. Good three bedrooms. Loved the spa on the rooftop. Main problem was moisture. Bathrooms need fixing (no fall to tiles which means bathroom ends up flooded after use) and stays soaking wet (may be different in summertime). Could do with exhaust fans in bathrooms. Water seeps through closed windows which leaves a damp feeling in the house (again may not be an issue during summer). Also, either a leak or condensation issue coming from rooftop as water was found on stairs every day. Would be ideal to have a better light on rooftop. Rooftop spa and views were amazing. A few downsides: we paid extra for the fold out bed to allow for an extra guest. However no bed linen was provided for this bed, so we all had to sacrifice a sheet each for a makeshift blanket. This was rough in the middle of winter. Also no towels provided for the additional guest. The iron didn't work so we had to buy one. There was zero internet service with the wifi. It is far slower than using your phone hotspot. The wifi will not even load a single app or movie on the smart tv. Another small detail, but things like no batteries in the main bedroom tv remote.Overall a good stay, but this lack of attention to providing a nice guest experience felt like a bit of a letdown for our family. ##### Mark B.
