The owner was really really kind but my review must be impartial; the room is basic but ok (equipped with fridge, toaster and coffee machine); the bathroom in our room (not in all rooms) was too old and small: you have to enter in the shower to close the door, and any time you take a shower it gets flodeed because the curtain is of the wrong size.

Piccola pensione ai piedi del Castello.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una delle camere senza angolo cottura. Era un pò piccina, ma siamo cmq stati bene. Ogni giorno la stanza viene pulita con cambio delle asciugamani. La connessione internet non ci ha mai dato problemi. La struttura è molto centrale. Il valore aggiunto del posto è il proprietario, Mr. Savvas, molto gentile e disponibile (ogni giorno veniva a chiederci se era tutto ok!) e sua moglie che ci ha omaggiato dei suoi dolci fatti in casa! Consigliato se non avete grosse pretese sul pernotto.

Una bella esperienza

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel e mi sono trovata benissimo. Si tratta di una pensione a conduzione familiare, situata nella zona del Kastro a ridosso del castello di Naxos, gestita dal simpatico e cordiale Savvas e dalla sua famiglia. La nostra camera era molto graziosa e curata nella sua semplicità, vi era a nostra disposizione anche un piccolo angolo cottura che ci ha permesso di preparare la colazione al mattino. Tutto molto pulito, Savvas è stato molto disponibile e prodigo di consigli. Assolutamente da consigliare.

Naxos Old Town Pension

My stay was great and comfortable I travelled around by foot everywhere I went, they have in the centre of the town the castle and on mountain tops the big Monastraki that can also be walked by foot, only if you like hiking and walking in a little heat. I don't recommend it if you don't like the heat. There is so much you can do. The beaches are amazing you need time to do everything. Check out the historical sights it's a must cafes and restaurants . It's a must to stay in Naxos.

Old Town Pension

Warm, caring , attentive owner/operator and staff; very clean room and tidy accommodations with kitchenette, small refrigerator. Nice touches throughout like hand-picked flowers in the room and small balcony with bistro table. Central location to the hora, but quiet enough for undisturbed sleep. Easy walking distance to restaurants, stores, transportation, and attractions. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to mid-range budget travelers.

Great place!

Very friendly and helpful host, Savvas. Pretty and convenient location. If you book via hotels.com make sure you give yourself some time as Savvas hadn't received the fax advising we had a booking. The phone number provided also just kept ringing out. The website asked us for credit card details but didn't charge we paid cash on site. Great place, and highly recommend it. We'd definitely stay there again.

Ficamos 4 dias em Naxos e o este hotel foi tudo de bom. Fica na cidade antiga de Naxos em uma localização excelente. Têm-se acesso rápido aos pontos tursticos, fica perto do porto e tem vários restaurantes, lojas e mercados próximos. O senhor Savvas é super simpático . Dá todas as dicas, pega e leva pro porto e é super prestativo. O quarto tem um tamanho muito bom com uma pequenas cozinha. O banheiro é pequeno e o chuveiro muito baixo. Ficamos no minero 8, com vista para o monastério .

Lovely stay in wonderful Naxos.

This was our first trip to this beautiful island.Upon arrival at the port,Savas,the owner,was there to transfer us to the pension.He provided us with all sorts of information for touring Naxos.The hotel is small,we had a balcony facing a lovely,very Cycladic looking street.There is a small kitchen area.The room was clean.The surrounding neighborhood is a wonderful uphilll laberinth of white houses,churches,a few small restaurants and shops culminating in a castle.Naxos town is easily reached on foot.Going to the small,picturesque towns and gorgeous beaches requires a car hire,although there are buses as well.Unfortunately we only had three days in this island which we loved,almost at first sight,but definitely plan to go back,and to the same Old Town Pension.

Clean and central - no noise

Rom med balkong, toalett og kjøkkenkrok, rent og bra. Hyggelig eier som kjørte oss til/fra båten. Få minutters gangavstand til havn, strand, restauranter, supermarked, gym mm. Ingen bråk fra omgivelser. Anbefales. Room with balcony, toilet, kitchen, clean and nice. Nice owner who drove us to / from the boat. Few minutes walking distance to harbour, beach, shops, gym, restaurants, supermarked, old town etc. No noise. Recommended.
