Beautiful sunsets and sea view

  • Our Villa Avlia house was built in 2018 and welcomes you for your next luxury holiday on the island of Naxos. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and the island of Paros, as well as absolutely beautiful sunsets.
    The location is 25 minutes from the port and 10 minutes from the village of Vivlos,. You will be surrounded by nature so that you can enjoy a relaxing and calm holiday. Our villa offers a superb swimming pool 9m long, a terrace with lounge and dining table .. The villa has been tastefully decorated for your comfort. It is ideal for couples and families (with children).
    Arranged on three levels., The lower floor includes a bedroom with its own bathroom and access to its own terrace. The ground floor comprises a living room, a dining room, a large kitchen, a bedroom with two beds and its own bathroom. A staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor with its bathroom and two terraces. Access to the pool and outdoor dining area is via the ground floor or the lower floor through an exterior stone staircase.
    A gas barbecue is at your disposal.

    To note
    The pool is unattended. Customers are responsible for the safety of minors who use the premises.
    Access to Villa Avlia is mandatory by car and the path is unpaved (over 1 km) with 2 important slopes.

    In the surrounding area:
    You have to try the local salty pies and sweet cakes from the local bakery at Vivlos - "you will go back".
    Visiting the local butcher in Glinado is an experience: pork and sausages are "to die for".

    The nearest beach is Mikri Vigla, less than 10 minutes by car.
    You will need a car to go to the villa.

Hill Top house

House is beautifully decorated and has a full equipped kitchen. Clean and welcoming. Some of the roads are very rocky and unpaved - have to be comfortable with driving on steep driveway. Breathtaking sun sets and sea views.

The villa is extremely clean, modern and furnished to a very high standard. The pool area is beautiful and a great place to relax in peaceful surroundings. The views are stunning and the sunsets are amazing. The booking and communication with the hosts was so easy. Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay and would book again. Note, a car is required.

Spectacular Views and Sunsets

The villa is well cared for, bright, clean and spacious. Pleasant outside area from where you can enjoy the views and unbelievable sunsets. Good size pool. The host was very kind and helpful. Car is needed. Will be booking again next summer.

Beautiful house with stunning view

Our family very much loved the house up on the hill with a lovely view over Plaka and Paros. The hill drive certainly takes your breath away the first few times in its steepness, but once you arrive the house is very modern, private and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the pool and there is a great outdoor space for family dinners and watching the sunsets. The bedrooms were spacious and well air conditioned. Gareth was very informative and communication was excellent. Highly recommend staying here as a family of 4 - lots of space for everyone!

Unbelievable property. We did not want to leave! We almost didn’t due to a 24 hr labor strike but our host was wonderful and flexible telling us not to worry, we could stay an extra day if needed.We celebrated our daughter’s birthday in this amazing home with a view. We cooked family style some nights and it was so special. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it so easy. Shower pressure and temperature were better than home! Lovely neighbors who gave us great advice on what breaches, villages and surrounding islands to visit. The roads are challenging and you need a good car or atv to reach it but as Gareth, our host, said, “You get used to it” and we did!

Best views on Naxos

A beautiful, modern, well-appointed house with the most incredible outdoor space and views over the sea. We didn’t want to leave in the evenings because we wanted to savour every sunset. Gareth was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The one feature that took getting used to was the drive to the house, which requires a very steep descent followed by a very steep ascent, on a narrow road with two way traffic. It was hair raising, although we quickly got used to it. Were from Canada and can drive manual, but for other North Americans who are t used to stick driving, these hills could be punishing teachers

Lovely villa

First of all the road to the villa is a 1 mile dirt track that can only be taken slowly. There are two hills the first down to the villa is not for the faint hearted OK down but up with suitcases etc in I didn't think our car would do it. The one up to the villa is also steep and I had to take a run at it. Suggest a larger engined car than a Fiat Punto.The villa was well appointed and lovely in every aspect. The BBQ area got us out of the wind at night and the pool was great. The views are spectacular. My only complaint is the fact that the outside space is overlooked by the villa above. We didn't see many people looking down but we wanted to be private. The only other thing is the building work. Quite a lot of activity building villas nearby which added to the large amount of dust that you get due to the wind, and some reasonable noise and men looking at us in the outdoor area when they were doing a roof.

Super belle place!!! Tout y est, beauté des lieux, propreté, vue magnifique, vraiment villa de luxe et confortable!!! Seul bémol, la route est un peu hasardeuse avec une petite voiture de location, surtout si Google map vous fait prendre des raccourcis dans des petites routes de l'arrière( mais aucun pépin)maismais tout a bien rpays...

Maison encore plus belle en vraie que sur les photos ! spacieuse , décorée avec beaucoup de goût , 3 grandes chambres, chacune ayant sa salle de bain : un grand luxe ! Bien équipée , tout pour faire la cuisine comme chez vous . Route typique grecque pour arriver sur la plus belle vue de Naxos . Magnifique terrasse vue mer à 180 degrés, paysagée qui vous permet de rester au soleil ou à l’ombre , avec barbecue à disposition . Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans ce havre de paix proche des plages et restaurants.

Beautiful villa with breathtaking view.

The villa is just as advertised, beautiful in every way. Practical, well furnished and nicely decorated. You must have a car to stay there and the road in is not easy but a must stay if you like an incredible view and sunset. The butcher in town was worth the trip ! Butcher and grocery in the town 10min.
