The place is wonderful. There are farm animals right outside the window. There are beautiful views and a nice trail through the forest. The restaurant downstairs has good food and nice staff. WARNING: The owner is a con artist. She kept trying to charge us a second time. She was frustrating to deal with and did not seem to understand that we booked online and paid in advance. She also tried to make up extra charges. We had to argue with her that we only owed the city tax and nothing extra. She kept insisting we give her our credit card. We even called Hotels.com to help explain things to her. We paid the city tax in cash and never gave her our credit card information.

We thank you for your review. We reject to call us con artist, as this is not true. Unfortunately expedia changed the contract with us, without informing us. We have been dealing with expedia for years on the contract details "hotel collect", that all guests pay directly at the property. So we didn't know that you already had paid to expedia. We ask you therefore to cancel your review, as this is swiftboating campaign and that is illegal.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay! Restaurant, farm animals, beautiful room, playground, the views... the list goes on! Highly recommend especially for families with young children.

Idyllic place with great view
We stayed a night here and enjoyed ourselves very much. The room was spacious and clean with big windows to enjoy the view. The service at the restaurant was outstanding and the food was simply delicious. Would definitely come back here. We didn't have a rental car coming here and while it's not necessary to get to this place, it may just be more convenient, especially if it's raining or snowing outside. That being said, we walked down to town to catch the local bus and absolutely enjoyed the walk and the views!!

Rural mountain getaway
Up in the mountains above Innsbruck. 20 minutes by tram and a beautiful ride. I walked about 20 minutes to the place, past grazing sheep and all. If hiking doesn’t suit you, maybe best if you’re driving. Friendly staff, nice room, beautiful view to take in while drinking beer at the restaurant there at end of day. Very nice place to chill.

Utterly wonderful hotel high up in the Innsbruck countryside. Our double room was actually an apartment complete with sofa, kitchen, terrace etc. Very comfortable. The restaurant attached was incredibly good, serving local cuisine. Is clearly popular with Austrians which shows how good it is. Loads of parking, high atop a hill just outside of Innsbruck, easy to get to with a car. Oh, has its own mini zoo. Nothing like starting your day watching Donkeys run around.

Beautiful unique property.
This place is incredible. The only problem we had was with the shower in the bathroom. We were only here one night so we didn’t say anything. Otherwise, what an incredible place for relaxation, quietness and incredible food. You are welcomed like family and treated as well. Loved the views and the surroundings of a farm and vast fields.

We had a great time Wirtshaus Natterboden. It was a the Austrian experience we were looking for. The hosts were very hospitable. The kids loved interacting with the farm animals (cows, pigs, horses, chickens, lambs, sheep, etc..). The family apartment with Loft was spacious. I recommend it for anyone whose children don't do well in a normal hotel room as there is a sitting/dining area and small kitchenette separate from the sleeping area. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant which was very accommodating of our dietary constraints. It was a short drive away from Innsbruck, but worth the experience and very reasonably priced.

Country hospitality at its best.
Family of 8 had a wonderful stay. Friendly hosts and wonderful food. Lovely to stay out of the mainstream and yet easily accessible. Farm animals a great bonus as was the wine cellar tour. Beautiful country.

Gasthaus on the slopes above Innsbruck
The Gasthaus is a family business providing holiday accommodation in a quiet and bucolic setting with spectacular views.It is clearly an ideal place for a family, with farm animals and lots of space for children to play and explore. The unit was spotless, bright and cosy, with basic kitchen facilities and a veranda to relax on. We ate a meal at the restaurant and were impressed both by the quality of the ingredients and the range of choice. Altogether a memorable stay.

Super for short or longer stay
Great location with lots of space for walks or runaround for the kids. Clean. Food was very good and obviously popular with the locals .We enjoyed our evening meal and they offer smaller portions for the youngsters if required. However, compared with similar stop overs on route to Italy , the breakfast was basic unless you are prepared to pay more which of course, adds to overall accommodation costs. Depends how hungry you are or if you are travelling on.

Rural Experience Close To The City
We were traveling from Bavaria, through Tirol, on the way to Salzburgerland, and decided to make a short visit to Innsbruck. We would rather stay outside the city, when we can, and Wirtshaus Nattererboden offered an interesting alternative to "downtown" accomodations. My wife loves farm animals and enjoys sketching them, so the Wirtshaus was "beckoning" us to visit it. Add to this, the reviews of the restaurant, and how could we NOT stay here? The Wirtshaus was easy to find and access, with free parking just outside the Reception area. Because of some unforeseen building maintenance, we were upgraded from a double room to an apartment... we did NOT complain. The restaurant food was tasty and moderately priced. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The WiFi was strong and fast enough to support the streaming of Internet movies. The animals were cute, and DEFINITELY an enjoyment to the several children visiting the property. Our Hosts were very friendly. The Wirtshaus is just a few minutes from Innsbruck.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant attached to the hotel had delicious food and great service. The apartment was clean and suited our needs. The playground and animals were a nice added touch that my kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Thank you for the feedback, we will do our best to improve from it. Unfortunately, since we have only 5 rooms we cannot do a breakfast buffet. Therefore. we serve a cheap and basic breakfast for Euro 6,- including all drinks and offer additional dishes for an extra fee.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich schön, dort gibt es viele Tiere und sehr viele freundliche Menschen. Sowohl das Personal als auch die Gäste. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer ausreichend groß. Das Badezimmer ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Im anderen Haus, wurden aber wohl die Badezimmer renoviert, wirhatten ein Zimmer bekommen wo das Badezimmer noch nicht renoviert wurde, dies aber wohl ab Oktober geschieht. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt gut.

Por estarmos de carro, escolhemos esse hotel para poder passear por Innsbruck. É um hotel familiar, no qual fomos bem atendidos, sendo confortável e limpo, com bom sinal de wi - fi. No quarto em que ficamos, havia a possibilidade de preparo de refeições caso assim desejássemos.O café da manhã é cobrado à parte, sendo saboroso. De nossa parte só não recebe uma classificação melhor no item conforto porque o box no banheiro é pequeno (para quem é um pouco mais alto) e as toalhas de banho eram muito pequenas e muito ásperas. É um item que poderia ser melhorado. Estivemos em época de inverno e não desfrutamos tanto da área da propriedade (uma mini fazenda) que deve ser também bem encantadora em estações com clima mais quente. Mas, a região do entorno do hotel é muito bonita.

Surpresa agradável
O hotel se situa na cidade de Natters, numa região muito agradável e com paisagens incríveis! Não fica localizado próximo a cidade, sendo necessário estar de carro. A dona do estabelecimento, Martina, foi muito simpática conosco e nos sentimos muito bem recebidos. Os quartos são muito bem decorados e confortáveis, contando com TV e utensílios. A estadia foi perfeita!

Schöner Aufenthalt auf tollem Bauernhof zum Mitmachen. Super für Kinder. Das Zimmer war einfach aber sauber und in Ordnung. Einzig das Bad war schon ziemlich renovierungsbedürftig. Super Alpenpanorama.

Il posto è gradevole, ci sono gli animali della fattoria e un playground adatto ai bambini. La camera semplice, di campagna, bagno fatto di lavandino e doccia un po’ datati. Quindi sì lo consiglierei principalmente per la location e la gentilezza del personale.

Wirtshaus abgelegen an einem Berg, Ideal f. Wander
Wir hatten nur 1 Übernachtung, diese war angenehm. Es war extrem warm und aus diesem Grund mit den dicken Decken und schlechten Kissen unangenehm. Bedienung und Essen, Sauberkeit war super.
