"We got let down by another hotel a week before travelling and the Irshad was still available to take us in just before the F1 race weekend. It's got a lot of good points - the staff speak English (not always great but miles better than my Azerbaijani or Russian!) and are really helpful and friendly, it's got 24-hour access with a reception that is always staffed which was really useful. "Based on the special rate we had for the room, it represented good value but I wouldn’t pay the normal prices. The hotel overall was ok but closer to a 3\* rather than 4\*. All of the staff were fine but I didn’t find them especially friendly as a lot of the other reviews state Cleanliness was really good and housekeeping obviously do a really thorough job. The hotel overall is looking a bit dated now. Our sofa was really shabby with lots of wear and tear along with stains. Biggest disappointment was probably breakfast which was well below the standard of other movenpick hotels I’ve stayed in. If the rate shown is at the lower end of the average cost for the room I’d probably recommend staying here"
