This is one of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed i. - stylish and classy - staff were very helpful. Breakfast was small yet perfect. My only disappointment was the roof top bar being closed as would have been a wonderful place to have a drink in the evening.

Impressed by this delightful hotel tucked away at the edge of the centro storico. Comfortable, quiet and super friendly and helpful staff. An amazing restaurant serving delicious food and a rooftop bar overlooking the city and castle.

Hidden gem

We spent 2 nights here. Amazing pool and spa area, great rooftop. Superb service and housekeeping, elegant design. Absolutely recommend, both Nardò and this hotel really are hidden gems.

Palazzo Tafuri is a stunning and well-maintained property with exceptionally friendly staff. We stayed in a beautiful suite with our own rooftop terrace. But beauty aside, we had several major issues which made our 11-day stay stressful rather than restful. Bed Comfort: The mattress was extremely hard, causing daily body aches and pains that required a deep tissue massage to fix once at home. Dining Limitations: The hotel offers no real lunch menu—only light bar snacks like crisps, ham or vegetable sandwiches or salad. For an 11-day stay, this became repetitive instantly. With my daughter unable to eat bread, cheese, or meat, there was effectively nothing available for her to eat. Local Hours & Food: Nardò closes down completely from midday until 7:30 PM. Wandering in the heat with no town amenities and no hotel lunch made afternoons very difficult. Transport & Pre-Arrival Info: There is only one taxi in town and no local car hire. Traveling with stage 4 cancer, I needed a low-stress break without driving abroad. Staff unhelpfully insisted once there that we "should have hired a car at the airport.” I messaged them days before we arrived about an airport transfer but they never mentioned it. The hotel urgently needs to inform guests upon booking that transport is non-existent without a rental car from the airport. While visually breathtaking, the hard beds, lack of food options, town closures, and transport issues make this hotel difficult for longer stays or non-drivers.

The hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, spotless, and recently renovated. The location is convenient, and the pool is very nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast was extremely limited, I’ve honestly never seen such a poor breakfast selection at a hotel of this level. The hotel also seems understaffed. From 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there is absolutely no food or beverage service available, no lunch, no bar, nothing. There is a rooftop bar, but it only operates from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., which is a surprisingly short window. Overall, while the property itself is beautiful, the lack of food and beverage options and the limited service significantly impacted our stay.

The best and the absolutely most incredible and well managed hotel we ever tried. Even as we travel a lot all over the world, this has so far been the to date best one. We have now been there twice and we will for sure come back! There is not a few things to say positive about this place. Das Palazzo ist eine wirklich tolle und gleichermaßen toll geführte Location. Die Zimmer, Hotelbereiche, Wellness Bereich etc. sind allesamt äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist sehr kompetent und äußerst entgegenkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Restaurant - Frühstück und insbesondere das Abendessen - sind sehr gut. Ein Hotel zum absoluten Wohlfühlen und Entspannen bei tollem Ambiente. Auch die Lage direkt im Zentrum ist super. Auch ausreichend Parkplätze - sogar kostenlos - sind in unmittelbarer Nähe außerhalb der ZTL vorhanden.
