Wakugawa, a peaceful hamlet in Nakijin Village in northern Okinawa, is a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful, unspoiled nature.

In this exceptional oceanfront location, we spent nearly a year carefully creating two unique villas, with attention to every detail. More than just vacation accommodations, we hope they will feel like your own private retreat in Okinawa — a welcoming home away from home where you can truly relax and unwind.

Each villa has its own distinctive character: the North Villa, designed in a charming Colonial style, offers timeless elegance, while the South Villa, inspired by Hawaiian style, captures the relaxed spirit of a tropical island getaway.

Each villa is constructed from two connected high-cube shipping containers, providing approximately 81 m² (872 sq ft) of space, including the terrace. The interiors feature abundant natural wood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that blends tropical charm with modern comfort.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, each villa is fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home:

Fully equipped kitchen with a four-burner cooktop

Complete BBQ equipment (seasonings and condiments are not provided)

Refrigerator and microwave

Coffee maker

Tableware, cutlery, and cooking utensils

JUNGLIA OKINAWA: Approximately 7 minutes by car (three shuttle bus stations are just 2–5 minutes away)

Kouri Island Beach: Approximately 14 minutes

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium: Approximately 23 minutes

Stand-up paddleboards (SUP) and kayaks are available for our guests to enjoy free of charge.
