The hallway was very dingy not nice at all and the futon bed they put on the floor for me was horrible. Having said that, I have never slept on the floor so it was the first time for me. They also have partnership with 2 hotels so when you get there, they allow you to go to the other hotel's hot spring and you can go there in car or their shuttle bus. They have a shared complimentary hair and face care in their public onsen. They also offer transportation. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the room comfortable. You do sleep on the floor if you get a traditional Japanese room, but it was not bad. The resort is amazing. The room was a good size. The view was fantastic. Close to the Yubatake, Kusatsu Gate foot bath, restaurants, and markets. They have a free shuttle to the center of town, Yubatake. Also, a shuttle to the bus stop when you go back. Plus, the free big onsen is amazing. You can also use two other hotels' onsens, but Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Resort's is the biggest and nicest. They provide a yukata for use while you're there, which is nice if you want to take pictures outside in a yukata. The staff are all super friendly and nice.
