Standard basic business hotel so room was very small but everything was very clean and breakfast was good. Room was completely dark at night so I got a good nights sleep. Great value hotel and conveniently located next to the train station

Clean, simple, straightforward
Close to the train station, clean room, parking next door (they validate the ticket which reduces the overnight cost a little). Stayed here as an overnight stop in Nagoya for a longer road trip, but likely a good choice for an easy to access location if traveling by train. Similar to other business style hotels, later check in is OK (desk is on third floor of a shared building).

The hotel is near the train station which make it very convenient. Easy to locate the place. Easy access to WiFi & you don't have to worry about what to eat because there is a daily buffet breakfast . Although the food is always the same but if your not choosy it's okay. Anyway, If you want to buy food there is a convenient near it. And easy access to airport express bus going to Chubu Nagoya airport. Happy to stay here.

Next to JR station but nothing for sightseeing around. 12 sq m room not enough for 2 persons to move around and can’t open a 26” luggage. Normally stand for 20mins in JR from Nagoya station, ok for overnight only.

Business Trip to Japan
If you need to stay in Kariya for business this is a standard Japanese hotel (small room, key returned to desk when leaving, electricity off when room unoccupied). Breakfast is offered daily with Japanese and Western options. Located adjacent to Meitetsu and JR lines (gates are just outside hotel doors). Many restaurants within walking distance as well as a shopping mall. if you will be going into Nagoya you can use the rapid trains from Kariya and it will take around 15 minutes (around 30 minutes if using local trains). There is a shuttle available from Kariya station directly to Nagoya airport for around 1000-1300 yen.

Before booking I was aware of the Meitetsu Inn Kariya more remote location, and found it easy to get to from Nagoya (in under 35mins). The Hotel is right next to the station which made to it a lot easier. The hotel itself and the room where both spotlessly clean. The service was great and everyone spoken good English and could help with our questions. The breakfast was also better than expected and a nice addition. One tip check out the restaurant with the fish painted on the outside, its good value and really warm and friendly. Also take the bus to/from the airport its quicker, simpler and the same price as taking the train.

Very nice hotel. Cheap to stay there and it's right on the station not very far from Nagoya. Recommend it to anyone that want to stay close to the city.
