The staff were friendly, and with the new self-service check-in and our system it was pretty easy. However, apart from housekeeping I didn't really have much interactions with the frontdesk staff. The location is excellent with the sights of Dejima, Chinatown and the harbor near by. The room was very clean, comfortable and economical. The staff was very friendly, too! The hotel staff were professional and nice. Check-in was electronic, which took a couple tries to get right, but went smoothly once I figured it out. The hotel is right next to the old Dejima outpost, and a hop and a skip away from Chinatown. Dejima and Nagasaki Port are within walking distance. There is a bus stop to Inasayama Ropeway station in front of the hotel. The historical site of Dejima, which reconstructs parts of the former Dutch trading post, was open when I visited and could be enjoyed in the evening. There are two convenience stores nearby, which was very useful. The staff were very helpful, especially when providing information about bus schedules. They were always available to answer my questions. The elevator arrives quickly, so you don’t have to wait long. There are also lockers available for your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Thanks to the hotel, I had a wonderful 3-day stay.
