About this property

Doe Stowey - An English cottage escape at Stag Leap Cabins!

  • Doe Stowey is a quaint, English-style cottage surrounded by ivy gardens. This open-concept cabin boasts 10-foot ceilings and offers a window seat that allows one to relax and enjoy a captivating woodsy view. A fresh mixture of today's luxury with a touch of antique creates the perfect escape for couples or solitary retreats.

A king-size bed and leather loveseat provide comfortable sleeping and lounging options. The window seat cushion could also serve as additional bedding for small guests (not recommended for an adult or older child).

An elegant brick fireplace with electric logs centers the room, and wood laminate flooring adds to its spaciousness.

The bath offers total relaxation with its oversized marble shower and a transom window that supplies natural light and a view of the treetops. Gold fixtures provide a luxurious touch to the bathroom. An outdoor shower is located in the private garden area behind the cabin.

The kitchenette has a refrigerator/freezer, a small 3-burner cooktop, a microwave/air fryer/convection oven combo, a toaster, coffee maker, and all basic cook and dining ware.

Meals can be enjoyed at the high-top table that sits in front of a large window or outside on the private, covered deck. A charcoal grill is also provided for cooking tasty meals.

The cabin's thermostatically controlled heat and air and an electric fireplace help keep it comfortable. It is located within an easy walk to the shared guest laundry room and the hot tub, which can be reserved for private use in one-hour increments.

This cabin has a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin.

From start to finish, our stay at Stag Leap Cabins was perfect! Communication was plentiful, our cabin (Doe Stowey) was welcoming, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for our needs, and we were far from any loud noise or roads. Plenty of paths to walk around, an additional hot tub was available, a nice porch for breakfast and coffee or relaxing in the evening. If desired, restaurants are not far, as was the Caddo Indian Burial Mounds, which we enjoyed visiting. We would highly recommend a stay here! Thank you to the whole Collins family for making this so enjoyable!
