Room was on the side of the hotel but had a balcony with a slight ocean view. Hotel was older but still nice for the price we paid. Gym was well equipped and my teenager enjoyed it. The location was the best thing about this vacation at Holiday Sands. It is located ocean front with numerous restaurants just a short drive away. The layout of the unit we stayed in was perfect for us. We had privacy as there was a bedroom where we entered from the hallway. The middle section had a kitchenette on one side and bathroom on the other. The other room had a sofa bed , another bed, and access to the balcony. We were on the eighth floor and had a great view.

The building itself was old, but that added to its charm. It was clean and all amenities worked perfectly. Our room overlooked the ocean; the view and ocean sounds were wonderful. We had a kitchen, which was great; we ate on the balcony. Could not have asked for a more relaxing stay.

The oceanfront room was awesome! However, the furniture was a bit outdated; the carpet was dingy. Nonetheless, for the value, the room was par excellence for an affordable price. The hotel location is great, overlooking at the beach from the balcony. The room smells like cigarette even though it says in the hotel that it is non smoking room. The carpet is dirty and feels damp, we wore our slippers the whole time. The furniture and bed is old and need an upgrade. The bathtub has patches and the corner or bathroom door has mould.

The WiFi barely worked but considering location it bothered us none. The view was impeccable. A couple room service ladies weren’t very polite but everyone else was amazing. The gentleman they had stocking the towels in the heated pool area he was so friendly n made my children laugh. The front desk gentleman was super friendly and gave us some awesome run downs and tips. Very helpful. If we come back to Myrtle beach I’d stay there again.
