Villa Arhontia is a newly built villa set on one level and within a large enclosed garden, in the village of Ageliana – just 3km from the small town of Perama in the district of Rethymnon.
Equally ideal for older couples or families with children, the villa interior is bright and inviting, simply furnished in modern style, offering a wrap- around terrace, super shaded outdoor dining and barbecue. The pool sits in a large, lawned garden with trees and shrubs which would be great for families.
The quaint village of Ageliana with its cobbled pathways between the houses, offers local shops (a mini market, butcher and baker) as well as local eateries, so all necessities on your doorstep. This will give you the chance to experience local Cretan hospitality and culture whilst more shops and facilities are just a short drive away.
A 10 minute drive away you will find the nearest beach which is a small, sandy cove in nearby Geropotamos, flanked by rocks and sea caves. The lovely sandy beach at Panormos and the historic harbour town of Rethymnon are both within 15-20 minute's drive.
