Nestled in a quiet neighborhood 1/2 block from Beachwood Park and an easy 8-minute walk to 2.4 miles of Lake Michigan public beach, hiking, and biking trails. This large renovated ranch has big rooms and is the perfect setting for a family retreat. Relax and experience beach town neighborhood living. Four BR and 2.5 bath plus full basement with ping pong, basketball shooting game, and TV area. Outdoor quiet patio area with natural gas grill. Sleeps up to 14. Minutes from freshwater sea breezes and nature, hiking, and a park with a playground, pickleball, and and fire pits. Take our bikes for a ride on trails nearby. Or travel to beach bars, summer event, arts, nature near by. Come dance in the sand :) and enjoy the many summer festivals on the west Michigan coast. This property was apparently listed for less than expected based on a VRBO platform error and I was informed after I booked the property. With that said, the owner gave a fair discount for the July 4th weekend. We simply wanted a space close to the beach for my wife and 3 young, adult kids and this hit the spot. Quiet neighborhood and the house had all the amenities. We used the outdoor grill, the basement ping pong, and the garage was a great space to transfer from vehicle to house each day after the beach.Early Saturday morning on the 4th, I watched a deer navigate the back yard within 10 feet from the deck. This home fulfilled every need we had and then some. I’m sure we’ll be back!!
