"Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be.
It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. Another highlight is that the guides are Maasai, and their incredible knowledge of the land and animal behavior leads to unforgettable wildlife encounters. The game drives were truly as...

"Everything was just perfect! The food was amazing, the staff was warm and welcoming, the place had a relaxing atmosphere which was perfect for us after a full day of driving. The only tiny thing that could be improved was the wines that were offered - could be an idea to keep some dry wines too (but this is just a small thing)"

"We paid for our stay in full months in advance. When we arrived, the lodge was closed. We were told the owner had passed away.
While this is a tragic situation, it is not an excuse for leaving paying guests without any notice. No one contacted us, cancelled our reservation, or arranged alternative accommodation.
Instead of relaxing after a long drive, we had to spend the evening urgently searching for somewhere else to sleep.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at the Mara Major Camp, with 2 full day game drives and one morning game drive. Both Anthony and Sam (our guides) were incredibly knowledgable and committed to providing us the best safari experience. They went out of their way to focus on animals we wanted to see and put in every effort to find the rarest animals to spot. The food at Camp was delicious and all of the staff were absolutely lovely. The tent was very comfortable, with good amenities and products. We...

The hotel was above my expectation. They cater from everything from having drinks on tap from the moment they picked us from the air strip all the way to the inclusive laundry service and sun tan lotion. You could literally go here with so little as they have everything ready for you. The game drives were excellent and we were walking the Mara whenever we got the chance, encouraged by the guide to do so when he knew it was safe. Amazing stay at Julia's. Basic but comfortable camp in the Maasai Mara. Friendly staff, nice food, great location l, we could hear animals all around us every night. Our trip was made by George specifically. The experience he had and his warm smiling face greeting us at mealtimes and when we returned from game drives was the best part of our trip. We hope to see him again at Julia's when we come back next time.

We had an extraordinary experience at Entumoto Safari camp!
The Conservancy in which its located proved a truly peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the adjacent Maasai Mara National Park, however, its water hole still brought Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Waterbucks, Zebras and several other animals right up to our camp (we watched them over our fantastic breakfast and lunches).
Separately, our excellent guide Purity ensured that our two full day game drives in the Mara park...

The camp is located inside the national park. You can hear animals howling in the night.
Gives you a feeling as if you are among the animals. But with security. The camp itself looks beautiful.

Very friendly , helpful staff and the food was amazing
Slight problem with the shower. Water constantly leaked to floor.
My tent was close to the driveway , so I could hear car noise and was disturbed in early morning.
Overall fantastic lodge and strongly recommending it
