"Breakfast was fresh and had variety. James from the Ibeza pool restaurant was the standout star of the week. We resided in room 1406 and encountered a few minor issues, but knowing that we could see his welcoming and genuine smile made it worthwhile. We visited him every day. He was exceptionally warm, accommodating, and very informative. He will be the primary reason for our return. The ambiance and fragrance of the lobby were simply relaxing. Thank you, James and the RIU Panama team. We will definitely return."

"The staff were not friendly at all any time we encountered them. The sink in the bathroom leaked a stream of water and even after informing the hotel, they did nothing to resolve it or nueve us. The pool was not working and completely drained. The hallways were very dark throughout the property. Even though we’re staying there for 4 nights, each day our keys stopped working and we had to get them reset each day. The restaurant was anything but good. The food was very bad tasting. There were no coffee pots in its rooms and we had to pay for coffee daily, which was only about a 3 oz cup for $4 USD. "

"The room was smaller than I expected, it was clean but a few teenagers that I had to keep killing so they wouldn’t go in my things. The staff was polite and kind. Hardly any English but I used Google Translate so it wasn’t bad. The breakfast was okay, they just needed a wider variety and for it to be hot. The outside of the building would make you not book it if you saw it in person but the interior is very clean and nice. The area looks not so safe, but each time I went outside we were safe so don’t watch the location. There is a nice restaurant across from the casino, the food is great there. As well as a burger cart. The burger slack and it’s for $2.50. My overall experience was good I give them a 4 star. Would go back if I’m traveling to Panama again. I do hope the exterior is upgraded though and them teenagers gone."

"The property is good overall. The location is close to most major attractions.The lobby looks nice, spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks little English but was able to use translation.Free parking in the garage which is safe and secured. The room is spacious. AC is very good. Free breakfast! There's rooftop pool and bar. There are 2 things we do not like: (1) There's no hairdryer (not in the room, not at the lobby); (2) The room key has to be reset everyday but we was not notified about it. Everytime we came back to the room, we could not open the door and had to come down to the lobby. That's why I gave it 4 stars."
