Checked in late at night so didn’t experience much. Parking was sketchy for hotel. Stayed for a total of 12 hours - overnight sleep and out in the morning. Hotel is eerie. Elevators are old, creeky and increased my anxiety. Hallways are dimly lit, not bright enough, Felt like I may have been in a suspense movie. Other than that stay was quiet, tv worked, room was clean. Hotel staff were adequate. However, would not stay again due to the feeling of not wanting to leave my room for the fear of getting stuck in an elevator due to malfunction or being chased down the hall by a ghost.

A quaint smallish hotel in the bustling Gaslamp quarter. Staff was friendly enough, but check-in was dragged till the very last moment, and the confirmatory text message never made it. Room was sparkling when we got in, but henceforeard left alot to be wanting. Dirty wineglasses were left as is on the counter. Trash bin not cleared, desk/table not wiped and staines stayed with us throughout our stay (4 nights). All in all a positive experience, but much room for improvement.

I was unaware that that every amenity (wi-fi, parking, breakfast) all came with a price. Also keep in mind that SeaWorld San Diego (half a mile away) launches fireworks every night around 9pm during the summer.
