"Nice hotel, lovely breakfast, however it was 26Deg upon arrival and the bedroom was boiling. Went to turn in the AC to discover it was activated, contacted reception who advised they don’t turn it on until May!!! Lost a nights sleep due to it being a complete sweat box. Overall a very nice hotel apart from this. "
"Great hotel with great staff, the location was okay for the city centre it was around a 10/15 minute walk so on the verge of being far but very local to the train station for the airport, no aircon wasn’t ideal however they provided a fan very quickly, would recommend it."
"We were disappointed with our stay from the outset. As older travellers arriving from the other side of the world with heavy luggage, it was challenging to find our room on the third floor with no lift available. While staff kindly assisted us with our bags on arrival, there was no help offered when we checked out, which made departure quite difficult.
The room itself was lacking several basic amenities. The cupboard intended for a fridge was empty, and there were no glasses, cups, or a kettle provided for making tea. Although there was a coffee machine, two pods were supplied along with a single small plastic espresso cup, which felt insufficient.
The hotel is also located some distance from town, and it would have been helpful to have maps or public transport information available to assist guests in getting around.
On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the TV included Netflix, which allowed us to relax in the evenings with a couple of good movies.
Overall, while there were some good aspects, the lack of essential amenities and practical support made the stay less enjoyable than expected."
"Was a issue with the traffic zone behind the hotel , the link that was sent didn't open so we went into a limited traffic zone and received a fine , lady at check in was kind of rude to this fact but it is what it is "
"The room is a dormitory room. The bed had no box spring, just a thin mattress on a platform. The bidet is in the shower. The walls and ceiling are covered with burlap. The staff was rude and unhelpful. You can hear the movie theatre next door in your room.
We left early even thought the room was fully paid and non-refundable."
"Savhotel Amelia Bologna was an excellent experience.
We reserved a junior suite, and it certainly was the right choice. Our room was very spacious with plenty of places to put our luggage. The restroom was also very spacious and clean.
The hotel is well laid out and the amenities are top notch. We took advantage of the evening bar, as well as the gym. Both were very nice.
The hotel is conveniently located, and we were able to walk to local bars and restaurants.
Above all, the best part of this hotel is their service! Annapaola greeted us upon arrival. We had a long day prior, and her delightful demeanor made our evening much more pleasant. We asked for a recommendation for dinner to which we could walk, and she quickly shared one of her own favorites. This was a restaurant that we never would have found ourselves, but was possibly one of the best meals we have ever had.
In the morning, she again greeted us as we checked out, and volunteered to hold our luggage and call a taxi after we returned from breakfast, which she did a couple hours later.
Service like Annapaola provided is not common, but makes one’s travel experience a 10+!
We will not hesitate to return to the Savhotel Amelia Bologna!"
