"Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "

"Charming and spacious 12th century accommodation in a pastoral, secluded setting. Magical in many ways. One could just close one’s eyes and imagine the Knights Templar in the space.Delightfully decorated with pretty furnishings that fit the space and thoughtful art pieces.Host was very responsive as issues arose.Would have been nice to have a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Not a suitable property for an elderly person or anyone who might have trouble with uneven surfaces or stairs with no railings."

"Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."
