"Above all the location of this property is superb. A relatively quiet location down a quiet road overlooking the river and yet within very easy walking distance of all that Les Eyzies has to offer. We would happily visit again. The décor and facilities are very traditional. Because of the access the twin bedroom is not perfect for older or larger people. We were surprised fire or smoke alarms of fire extinguishers. Vert fast Wi-Fi."

"Wow - what a fantastic place! Noel and Evelyne were excellent hosts, really friendly and kind. We stayed in La Borie which was absolutely amazing. The room itself is simple but perfectly comfortable and thoughtfully designed, however it is it's location that is wonderful. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance which was great, and for breakfast Noel brought this to us on our terrace which was a delicious breakfast of local and homemade delights. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay, we would love to return again in future."

"Wir hatten insgesamt eine schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Das Haus ist ein sehr schönes, klassisches Steinhaus im Périgord und hat dadurch einen ganz besonderen Charme. Unsere Golden Retriever Hündin hatte ausreichend auslauf im Garten. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Le Bugue, außerdem liegt die Unterkunft fußläufig zu einer Kanu-Anlegestelle. Besonders positiv fanden wir die Flexibilität: Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt spontan um einen Tag verlängern.Wir wurden freundlich von der Mutter der Gastgeberin empfangen. Grundlegende Französischkenntnisse sind allerdings hilfreich, da die Gastgeberin selbst nicht vor Ort war und die Kommunikation überwiegend online lief.Ein paar Punkte sollte man vor der Buchung wissen: Das Haus ist wirklich sehr alt und entsprechend etwas abgewohnt. Die Betten waren dennoch gemütlich. Für große Personen sind einige Bereiche allerdings sehr beengt – insbesondere Bad und Dusche sowie die Toilette. Außerdem hatten wir während unseres Aufenthalts ein sehr starkes Mückenproblem. Hier sollte man sich unbedingt gut vorbereiten. Wir haben zwei Moskitonetze für die Betten dagelassen. Eine Investition in fest angebrachte Moskitonetze für Fenster und Türen wäre aus unserer Sicht eine sinnvolle Verbesserung."

The house was beautiful, very clean, well equipped and Sophie was exceptional with communication from the start of our booking enquiry through to during our stay and check out. Our party consisted of two families, and between us we had an 18 month old baby and two young boys. The pool was fantastic and the property in general felt safe and secure for our little ones and there were plenty of toys for the children to enjoy. We would definitely recommend this house to others.Thank you so much "
