"Tuo and staff were so lovely and helpful in every way. We stayed in buffalo house as a family with 4 kids it had so much room the surrounding rice paddies were so special to look out on. Lucky daisys cafe was so yummy and we ate there everyday day. Thanks for such an awesome stay ! "

"Ok on plus points the room was like a wooden hut with balcony outside. I really liked it and it was clean with firm but comfortable mattress. The shared shower was reasonable with hot and powerful enough showers. All rooms have padlock in which you take the key. Negative points. The rooms have no sound proofing at all. "The location is great, very quiet within walking distance to everything, Sapa has ski village vibes. The owner is often working at the front desk and is genuinely an incredible human. We arrived 630 AM on the train and he permitted us to check-in to our rooms early, as well as check out at 5 PM with no extra costs! He even upgraded us to a superior room because it was available! He helped us book a one-day trek with a local and it was so fun and informative! We are active 50 year olds and found one day to be plenty for us if you plan to trek, it was so beautiful and VERY muddy in January. Mr Kim is a gem! I can't say enough good things about Mountain Queen House and highly recommend. I would also email Mr Kim to assist with any tour bookings and transpiration needs - excellent prices with quality services. You will not regret staying here."

"COLD. The windows and doors were open all the time. It was always cold throughout the building. No working restaurant. Elevator does not go to all floors. Staff was friendly. Outlets were an issue. Door had several large cracks. We had hot water. Bathroom vented to another room. It would be very easy to film or watch someone from there. The spa smelled dank and was unclean. It was staffed by people who arrived from other facilities. Their skills were untrained. Laundry service was fast and convenient. The sink drained straight to the floor. We reattached it and they were unconcerned about the leaking. "
